What makes you believe any statistics you can read on news and tv?
They lie all the time about everything and manipulate regular people, so why would presidential elections be any different.
Look any previous elections and you would see similar situation, when everybody talked Hillary will win.
Let's not get into last debate and crazy Biden statements... he will end oil production?!  Shocked yeah right.

Now let's see how the bets are going for Cloudbet, Trump Drives 94% of their political wagers:

I'm also not sure the stimulus trump put in will get him re-elected. because I believe, the public already understands that the stimulus is only to increase his popularity. For ex-Trump supporters who are already disappointed with Trump's performance, they will not be trapped twice.
But what makes you sure that Trump disappointed his supporters? You even call them ex-supporters !
Personally, and if i am about to bet, then Trump is my safest bet. Maybe not because he is the best, but i am sure he is better than mr Baiden from various sides and this is not the right board to discuss politics .

hmph..

My own stand here to chose  between candidates was Trump. I know some hate this guy but he is incumbet a d could take advantage on the current power he hold to influence the voters.

If I would prefer to bet on the opposition, if you look at the statistics released by Real Politics, Trump is far behind the point of Biswn. With an average of 9.3 points. Indeed, this is not the end result, if from these sample the vote is better for Biden, I think it will end up the same. I agree with shoreno, because if we already know that incumbent presidential candidate is not doing a good job, why should we elect him again?

Anyway, it seems that the result of the election is unpredictable. No really candidate has the high chance of winning the presidential position.
if its really not that predictable , you shouldnt have come on your own predictions but based on your accent it looks like you are familiar with the candidates  .

not some but many people actually have a not so good impression bout this guy but power do matters when it comes to election  . the most powerful candidate can secure a slot because they can turn the tides  . i dont know if what are the candidates but when it comes to voting il vote to the people that im more familiar with but if the people is also known for its not so good works , i think ill think twice .

Presidentials are just a few weeks ahead, and it seems to me that there are still little platforms that offer such an important bet with Bitcoin/cryptos.

Others will have to hurry if they don't want just to be there to take advantage of the last minute bettors only.

I may be one of the latters Cheesy so thanks for giving the previous info about places where I can already go if I finally decide to bet.
Gamblers really are initiative in betting and even in presidential election was becomingna target of betting. Anyway, it seems that the result of the election is unpredictable. No really candidate has the high chance of winning the presidential position. Both candidate had close or low odds to win and this will make fun and exciting bet to watch.

If Trump can make a way to release the stimulus checks and other financial assistance before elections, I guess he has high chance to win another Presidency term. In terms of sportsbookies, I believe they will rush listing this important event maybe a week or 2 before Nov 3. Let's see.

The list is endless. But I wanted to ask one question here : Why did people never choose a woman ?
~snip~
In the same way, I ask you.
Why Americans take so long time to choose the first black man?
The problem is... "only becomes president" who has a lot of influence or money, like Trump Roll Eyes .
In the case of women, if I'm not mistaken they occupy only one-fifth of the seats in the congress (am I wrong?). A statistic that doesn't help them.

Unfortunately, betting on a woman in 2020 is throwing away your coins.

Where are the best places to bet with Bitcoin with decent volume and fair odds?

I have found this one and a few other on Betmoose but that's it.
https://www.betmoose.com/bet/u_s_-presidential-election-winner-2020-5153

I saw the Cloudbet thread (and they do have good odds and volume) but they don't accept bettors from my country (in their terms they forbid betting from US, UK).
I placed my bet a while ago on Sportsbet.io. It doesn't have the Trump and Biden options, but you can bet on the party winning the presidential elections, and given that the candidates have already been chosen, it's basically the same thing IMO. Moreover, in case, say, Trump doesn't make it due to COVID-19 or something like this, the main competitors will still be those of the Democratic and the Republican Party, so this bet feels safer than the bet on names. Here are the odds:

On Sportsbet.io you can also bet on the party that will win in a particular state if you're interested.
Thanks, will check them out. Happy with party betting.

Edit: how do you find this market on sportsbet.io - I can't find any politics betting even using search.

Also do they allow betting in BTC to win BTC or is it converted into local currency?
Edit: It's not suspended anymore, so feel free to bet on the winning party:
Here's a link to betting on the winning party: https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/specials/politics/presidential-election-winning-party/presidential-election-winning-party-5aa14e7786e68d00063a0b12.
My bet is active, but when trying to place a new bet I can see that betting on this event is currently suspended. I don't know if it's a temporary measure in this case. You can still bet on the winning state, though. For that you can start typing in the search 'US presidential...", and you'll see the options. Or you can go to the Politics section: https://sportsbet.io/sports/specials/politics/outrights.
As for BTC, you can bet directly using it and what you win will also be in BTC (I don't use fiat for betting, only Bitcoin). I hope this helps. Good luck!

I believe Trump and Joe Biden do have a contest here but we should not just ignored the other candidates , it is not only fair but also disrespectful for them since I do believe that those candidates are way more suited for this job as compared to a orange racist and a corrupt leader.

According to the google , there are around 1214 people who are standing for the elections.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/amp/election-us-2020-54334173

The list is endless. But I wanted to ask one question here : Why did people never choose a woman ?

The US itself is a narrow minded nation but I think we can make a change. If you see the history of the US presidents it's laughable. People would prefer choosing Trump! Instead of a woman or a qualified man much more capable of handling the politics.

We should gamble on it and at the same time we need to spread the word and try and change the air around the Presidential elections.

Back to the question : I am aware that betfair is providing what you are looking for but I haven't tried it yet
This is exactly what came into my mind when discovering that gamblers can bet on US presidential, but only choose between Baiden and Trump. What if another candidate win? It's far to be real happening but it's still a possibilty not considered by the terms of betting.
Americans didn't ever elected an independant candidate, and by checking three of them (according to the article you provide), they have great profiles with real programs for developement. Two of them are cryptocurrency billionaires.
Terms of betting can be more realistic if it includes all the candidates and not only those backed by parties .

I think this gambling place is the safest place to participate in the new presidential election event in America, indeed the reason you use is right that when Trump is exposed to Covid they people expect their death and it seems that many don't like trump, the meaning is very clear. that trump will lose this election.

There are very simple reasons for why what you are asking for has never happened and would never happen neither. The number one reason why democrats and republicans go against each other and no other candidate ever gets any attention is the simple fact that if you want to vote for a third party candidate and you do not want to see the other party get elected neither, you have a bigger chance staying with your party.

Let's say you hate trump, but you do not like Biden neither, even though you dislike Biden you have to vote for Biden to keep trump out of oval office, if you go vote for a third party instead of Biden, you end up helping trump more. That is a HORRIBLE system and I hope it changes, but that is how the system works.

Also people do not hate women, they just hated Hillary Clinton, even though I despise Trump to my core and would have voted Hillary if I was American, I still think the hatred towards her made sense too.

There's no need to be upset
freebitco.in is a good place if you want just an all-or-nothing option.
there' already a high pool of people betting on the outcome of the elections and it's easy to use and have good reputation.

Another place, if you're a bit more sophisticated is using FTX exchange, they have futures contracts for Biden, Trump and some other candidates and you can either long or short their contracts.
Winner's contract expires at 1 USD and losers contracts expires at 0 USD.

I posted some screenshots of the sentiment change on the last weeks here
It's interesting to see how the balance changed from Trump to Biden.

Who are you betting to?

Betfair don't accept bitcoin and their commission is high (5%) compared to Smarkets or Matchbook which are both only (2%).

If I want to bet in fiat then Smarkets is always my first choice but I'd prefer to bet in (and win in) bitcoin.

Everyone has the right to own choice, of course, but personally I wouldn't bet with Bitcoin on presidential elections. To my opinion it's very tight fight and very hard to predict the final outcome so I wouldn't risk Bitcoins for that.
The probability to win here is very high since we only have two options and this is what gambling is all about. Well, if you're not confident then at least have your bet without spending any bitcoin. Aside from Cloudbet I don't have any option for the betting site especially the US election since its not available on may crypto gambling site, if you still didn't fine one better to bet against your friends using your bitcoin, it can be fun and profitable as well.

Wow! So surprised to see this a possible or should I say a betting option on bet sites now. It's really numerous the various activities incorporated in bet platforms these days. One can hardly fine a game or option to bet from without seeing it.
Digitalizing bet seems to be one of the best things to have happened to gambling and gamblers and it's very much a good thing.

On the stakes between the Republican candidate Mr. Trump and the Democrat ticket bearer Mr. Biden, it's seems a very risky option to place a bet on as to who wins the presidency election but then,
I have a high hope on Mr. Trump, he has he's way to create confusion and capitalize on it. I see that coming as most strategists will always want to save the best tactics for the last and so with this in mind, I see Mr. Trump being elected for a second tenor. I'll place my bet on Mr. Trump.

The odds are quite attractive for Trump or am I just dumb at American politics? lol

Basically I would more than double my money if I bet 0.01 on Trump. What do you guys think? Is this a good bet or is Biden a clear favorite?

Biden is killing trump in every poll from what I've seen over the last 1-2 weeks. I don't politic to hard but there's stuff like voter intimidation, supreme court talking about throwing away absentee ballots. Basically a lot of bullshit all coming in at the last minute. Honestly I have no idea who will win cuz most Americans don't vote anyways. Just trying to point out that Biden is leading in PA/Florida/Wisco and ohio is neck/neck and those are all huge wins for either side. Feel free to correct me just trying to say there's good reason to have Biden as the favorite right now with some shady comeback story possible but unlikely.

Thank you for the suggestions  Wink

Stake looks amazing but they don't accept bettors from US, UK, France, Australia, Netherlands, Portugal, among others. So that's a no go. Because they sometimes ask for KYC I don't want to bet from a restricted territory then be asked for kyc and have funds forfeited/stolen.

I checked fairlay but there was tiny volume available, the site is horrible. I understand I could offer bets for others to take there but the site and volume in general look so dead I don't think I will.

The best platform to bet on the US election (and elections in common) with Bitcoin is Fairlay.com. You can bet on a wide variety of world political developments and events.

Here are some current examples:

Not sure, what is "decent volume" for you, but Stake has quite some markets with ok-ish odds.

Exbet Exchange will open their gates in 4 days and they will have the US Election as well in a Betfair-like environment with only 1% commission. But afaik there will be KYC if you withdraw bigger amounts.

If someone of you from Russia or another postUSSR country, you can try parimatch.com, this is at least one of the official books in our place with (as i see) fair odds and you can bet their on Trump/Biden victory. I personally tried it and played their some time ago and everything was fine.

But you should know, that if you're betting something more than 100 dollars, they can ask you for KYC.
