Nope. I don't fall on that site. I told that guy who message me if he wants his money he needs to make a deposit on my account and then he's gone Grin
Maybe that person is the one who runs that site and therefore tweaks his idea after hearing your replies.
The site is still new and may be trying to use it for another activity.

Is cryptcharm a scam? I have 1.5 BTC given by my friend in that site. But it's frozen. The site said I need to make a deposit, minimum 0.02 BTC if I want to withdraw it.
we are talking about charmcrypt.com  Not  cryptcharm.
I did a Google search and did not find any information about that site.
He would be stupid if he invested $ 1 in that site.

Yes, he's my friend. He was my neighbor. But I haven't met him for 2 years
There are several possibilities, maybe he is scamming you intentionally or he was fooled by someone else and asked to share the info , etc. I don't know the whole story, but what's for sure is no one will give you 1.5 BTC for noting. It's just a bait for people to deposit in that site. (SCAM)

As said above, the site has been taken down already. You might see another in the future, so be careful and don't be swayed.

Yep, I the site is down. I can't access it.
Thanks for ur warning.

There will still be a willing victim because many people are still not doing research if it is too good to be true don't believe on it right away check or ask members here, not saying yes right away can save you from these scammers, so always do the right thing, it's always free to ask here.

Old style scam tactic. I hope no one fall for this kind of scam again, even newbies. You did a good move by demanding him to deposit, it's his money that you'll be withdrawing anyway.  Grin

Nope. I don't fall on that site. I told that guy who message me if he wants his money he needs to make a deposit on my account and then he's gone Grin

One question, is he really your friend?
1.5 BTC is not a small amount, you should have doubt if someone is giving you such.

I guess the owner has already known that his tricks are shared on here and he decides to shut down the site Grin

I am too afraid to visit that links because I am worried if the site contains malware or trojan or something bad. But I feel it's not right that if someone offers a big amount of bitcoin because there is no free lunch for people.

But wait, I think I remember that in one exchange, we need to deposit before we can withdraw any coins from them and I think that is also suspicious. I hope that the exchange is not the same as the OP mention in here.

That's a great news. Good thing they took down that site too soon. But for sure they will return with another gimmick.

This is basically a common type of telegram spam, I have personally received many such messages asking for help related to crypto and later they ask for help in withdrawing there funds from an exchange which requires some withdrawal fees.

But I never fell into it until and most of the time I just end up reporting such users instead a wasting time talking with them. But yes, some new crypto users could fall for it for sure and a warning is necessary.

BTW, you fall for it?

I don't think OP fell for it, as its not the first time he experienced those type of messages.

You are not blocked but it seems like the site has been taken down. Since the site is down it is hard to confirm if it was even there but it seems like the way the recent fake casinos are opening up. It's a trap and who believes it just because they are getting some for free money are the ones losing it.

BTW, you fall for it?

I want to warn everyone about this scam site. Someone will send you a message on telegram asking for help.

Later today, someone on telegram send me a private message asking for a help. He will transfer his funds on your account worth 1.09 btc and then you will send it back to his given address and you will get 0.09 in return. When you received the amount you can't transfer the funds on any btc address. When I tried to talk to support they will tell you to deposit 0.02 btc to be able to withdraw the amount.

This not the first time that happen to me. There are so many scam site like this. So, I want to warn everyone specially those who are new on this kind of gimmick. Be careful everyone.

My IP is now blocked from that site  Grin
