If you click on those links, are you still safe or its possible malware/keylogger is put on your laptop?
For me you will be safe as long as you don't download anything that it tolds you to download or enter your personal information when they ask you to but of course there are still chance you might get some virus because you did click the link so to make everything safe for you specially if you are on your main laptop or pc do not click unknown links.

There are lots of accounts in YouTube who can gather a lot of subscribers in a minute or hours due to some of the tactics like creating an airdrop
that one of the requirements are subscribing to a channel, and turnout to be a fake giveaways, in the end they will be asking small amount of money
and disappear after they have gather everything, thank you for informing us regarding this kind of scheme.

Another point you can look at to detect scam Youtube channel is scammers can make sudden changes in their contents.

I see some scam Youtube channels changed their contents from non-crypto to crypto. When they changed to crypto contents, it is time they run scam giveaways.

Honestly I don't see their logical thoughts that how such content changes can help them to get attention and capital from crypto investors. Previously, I thought scammers need to build up their channels that are related to crypto or at least with financial investments, stocks, real estates. It is a strange approach from scammers that I saw. Those channels can be from hacked or bought channels.

Ads like this still exist and I see in some cryptocurrency videos the ad always appears at the first start and indeed if the click will lead to random navigation I think the scamer when there is an opportunity it will take advantage by making ads of course this pays so they are more convincing of the scam. Oh god this still happens with advertisements where a lot of scams are.

Well, Google should be even more strict in filtering ads so that no one becomes a victim. I think if this is allowed, then many will appear like this then who will be responsible if there are victims?

It's worth realizing we are all about this ad scamer.

Always I'm browsing with the YouTube there is a YouTube ads will pop up that you can invest right there on the ethereum, bitcoin and just send go this [address] and you will double up your coins instantly. I always made a report on this on youtube and there is nothing happen sometimes the ads are depending on the category you are watching and mostly on my list is about a crypto currency that's why.

It's better to report immediately and make an action to prevent promoting this kind of scam.

Is this topic good at altcoin discussion too?

There is so many scam giveaways and that is one of the hindrance to cryptocurrency adaption for the community. With the scammers around people may think that cryptocurrency is a joke and a scam also even if it weren't. However, if they will be kept educated then they can get to learn about these things and eventually will be able to avoid getting scam at the same time learn about cyptocurrency.

The forum will have a great role for this and well just hope that many people will get to know about the forum.

Why would Chico Crypto create such an advert on Youtube? He is having more than 149k followers on his Youtube channel. I am sure it is a scammer who is impersonating his channel logo in this advert.
Youtube and Google both do not have any filters or policy to stop scams. fraudulent adverts. Only if the community reports they will take action.
They even provide free credits to first time advertisers for creating adverts on their platform. Scammers are utilizing those benefits to scam users.
Yep, this is totally fake account impersonating Chico Crypto. Since when you click the add or visit advertiser, you will navigate in random video with no subscribers, it's just for the ad.
This is difficult, Youtube and Google is only one company, Youtube is owned by Google that's why what I also think even in Google adwords, where you search in Google, you still can see some random ads which can be also risky which consist some of phising or scams, like giveaways.

If this will still continue, for sure Google will be more strict when in terms of cryptocurrency.

Scammers only use what they used many times in the past.

Scammers on Youtube. Don't fall into this scam trap and lose money, guys. First time when the scam method (giveaway) was used, Vitalik put the phrase "I am not giving away ETH" with his account status on March 2018, more than 2 years ago.

Youtube still never filter the ads coming to their content creators. This has been reported and took the attention of Steve Wozniak, yet there's still no removal for those scam ads that they show.

Steve Wozniak sues YouTube over ongoing bitcoin scams

First, look at the ads, I didn't see any sending address of Ethereum, I typed on search engine box on google the site that appears in the image but it seems I didn't see any. Probably it's a pure entertaining ad that made people click the youtube. I saw also that there is an April falls.
It wants the viewers to go to their website instead of sending it with their posted ads because exposure for these ads are just a couple of seconds to minutes. And the website is not secure as browser checking. There's an ETH address at the bottom part of the image.

  • Just a marketing strategy of the blogger who paid youtube ads, this is the way to catch the interest others to gained subscribers, IMO.
It is done and assigned by Youtube's algorithm and anyone can have their advertisement once it passes the requirement they have on https://www.youtube.com/ads/

The advertiser doesn't look a blogger/vlogger.

  • Or might really a scam intention who the blogger willing to pay on Youtube just to scam people.
Yes, it's a clear intention to scam people who will see the ad.

How long Youtube will be active removing these scam ads?  Undecided

I have two doubts about this.

  • Just a marketing strategy of the vlogger who paid youtube ads, this is the way to catch the interest others to gained subscribers, IMO.
  • Or might really a scam intention who the vlogger willing to pay on Youtube just to scam people.

Sometimes Youtube ads made us annoyed, it will always interrupt upon watching a video. We have an ad blocker for this kind of ads, also we can ignore them.

Anyway, I tried to report on google.

Last night, when I tried to watch 1 Youtube Bitcoin last night for this 1 youtube channel which I also saw in Twitter.

I tried to find again the ads, so I keep open and closing some cryptocurrency youtube videos so I can see the Youtube Ad again and viola, here it is.

This youtube ad is really obvious for scamming people, putting it on an youtube ad. Scammers nowadays really improved, they are paying some money now just to scam other people.

Btw when I try to click the advertiser and view it, I am navigating to random video.
As seen on the youtube ad, it is telling that it is hosted by Chico Crypto, one of crypto youtuber, but I can confirm it is not. Totally a scam!

Beware on this. I already reported the Youtube Ad.
