Of course, Bitmart is the problem here. But if you go a little deeper, what was the ...

Thank you Darker45 You have understood the main idea of my message. I just wanted to warn people about dark practises by a company which should be serious and responsible. You are raising another debate about the personal information. If you want we can open other post in order to discuss about this global issue But maybe here you are also a victim. Or do not you have facebook account? Or maybe a twitter account?  Or maybe are you a telegram user? Or are you an Instagram user? Do not you have a bank account? Because if you have a job or if you receive a salary or a pension you have to open a bank account by law and the banks have much much much personal information. Or maybe did you use the GPS yerterday if you have a fantastic smartphone? Or on the contrary maybe are you an 'island' with no interaction with any centralized platform? In my opinion zero anonymity does not exist currently. But maybe you are a nice exception.
In relation to the 'shitcoins' I am also very interested in your point of view. What are 'shitcoins' for you? Is it by their value? Because which was the value of bitcoin in 2009? 0,0000000... dollars? Do not they have the right to exist? In the end this is a new liberty we have wanted to design and to develope.

It's so sad that in chasing shitcoins you ended up risking a lot, signing up and deposited money on a shitty exchange. And not only did you entrust your funds to an untrustworthy exchange, you also gave them your personal information. This is too high a price to pay for some short-lived meme coins. Lucky for you, you only risked a small amount. But that's only in addition to your complete personal information.

To be fair, however, despite a long list of accusations and unsolved complaints, there were also users who were able to successfully recover their accounts and funds. So if you have funds stuck in there, there's still a little hope.

'Shitcoins'Huh Coins are not a problem The problem is the people without credibility Bitcoin protocol was the origin of the change and this change is unstoppable. I really think that a digital and economic revolution is going to transform our reality in order to improve our lives But in this change liars have their place And I am reporting here a credibility problem If you create an exchange company and you do not show the truth, your credibility will be lost And this is the same than the Science In Science the truth always wins If you lose your credibility in one only time, your credibility will be lost forever. So a serious exchange company cannot tolerate credibility problems

Of course, Bitmart is the problem here. But if you go a little deeper, what was the reason why you created an account in Bitmart in the first place? Not only did you create an account with Bitmart, you also revealed your personal information to them.

Why did all this happen? It is because of the shitcoins that you are chasing after-- shib, minidoge, coshi inu, among others. If not with those shitcoins, would you have preferred to open an account in a shady exchange like Bitmart and not in the largest and most popular ones?

Not sure why you didn't create this topic in the scam accusations board.

After reading through the different reviews, I would also advise people to avoid using Bitmart exchange
Someone created a Twitter account dedicated to exposing the scam exchange - twitter.com/bitmartscam

The negative reviews on trust pilot show that OP is not the only victim - https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.bitmart.com?stars=1

Thank you for your support In my opinion any public place is good to warn In order to report a possible scam the best way is the justice If I win the demand then I will go to the scam accusations board and I will show the result of the judgment In fact, I would prefer a 'scam board' with court decisions It would be much more solid and final

Beware of Bitmart!!!
Yes, we know about Bitmart exchange, because they have a BTT account here: @BitMartExchange, they have indeed eaten victims/thefts etc., maybe you are the umpteenth victim of the Bitmart exchange.

Like this person is also a victim of the Bitmart site.
Topic: Bitmart SCAM!!!

My advice to you in the future, if you are already familiar with the Bitcointalk forum and want to do crypto trading, try here first to get information about the exchange, at least, members here are detected all over the world, so you are a bit spared from scam exchange sites, with the information from the community here.

OK Thank you very much

Hi guys. Beware of Bitmart. I did two deposits on the last days of September of 2021. In total 50 dollars. It went up to 225 dollars but finally I can not withdraw my funds.

Bitmart exchange got hacked few weeks ago with huge $200M exploit that affected altcoins like ethereum and binance smart chain.
I don't know if this is related with problem you are facing Falin009, and I see that Bitmart is active in their social media accounts,
but it's very likely connected with that, and I am always suggesting people to avoid keeping any coins on centralized exchanges.
I can't stop anyone from playing this Russian roulette with exchanges, but I think you will survive this small loss and learn important lesson.

Hi dkbit98 No, no This episode is not related with the hack My problem began in October and it is not solved yet But I think that here there is an important problem of credibility For me Bitmart has lost its credibility and at this point the rest is not relevant for me Do you trust a company if it has lost its credibility for you???

After this hack we have some good number of complaints on social media and different channels about this exchange which is not good as another lost of exchange is going to have something bad for this community. Sometime back I was also using this exchange, but suddenly I drop this idea and withdraw all my funds but after this I am reading some good number of complaints about this exchange is strange because in start this was doing very good and have nothing wrong but now suddenly hack and now some good number of complaints mean something wrong is going on with this.

Was that Bitmart or Bitmax? I guess it was Bitmax. If I'm correct, I have heard/read Bitmax aka ascendex has been hacked a few days ago.
It was BITMART exchange just like I said, so please don't confuse people more with posting something that you didn't check yourself, and it would only take you few seconds of your time...
Source info including tweet from Bitmart CEO below: https://www.coindesk.com/tech/2021/12/06/bitmart-ceo-says-stolen-private-key-behind-196m-hack/

In response to this incident, BitMart has completed initial security checks and identified affected assets. This security breach was mainly caused by a stolen private key that had two of our hot wallets compromised. Other assets with BitMart are safe and unharmed.

Nevertheless, I have some funds in Bitmart & haven't checked it in a while. I need to check it out LOL. Though I don't use the exchange regularly, back in last January, to buy some shit, I had to create an account with them.

Not being biased here but I have no problem with Bitmart as far as my own experience is concerned although the last time I used the exchange is I think around March or April. It's unfortunate that you have the worst experience using them and your case is running for 3 months now without a clear path if it will be solved soon.

They got recently hacked but as far as the recovery progress is concerned, it's likely that everyone won't have to worry as everything will be smooth and all of their current balances won't be affected.

As per your issue with them, maybe you can provide more proof to back up your claims.

I'm having trouble understanding this part:

In total 50 dollars. It went up to 225 dollars but finally I can not withdraw my funds.

how did $50 become $220? is there any high return scheme in Bitmart? are you talking about this site https://www.bitmart.com  because this legitimate site is for Buy & Sell Crypto, I'm not seeing any investment options, are you sure it's the same site I put the link you are using

Hi guys. Beware of Bitmart. I did two deposits on the last days of September of 2021. In total 50 dollars. It went up to 225 dollars but finally I can not withdraw my funds. I have written several tickets since September in order to claim the service of withdrawal of funds but they do not answer me. Or they answer with a robot and with answers not related. After three months they have not solved my problem. They establish several levels of identity verification and my account level is zero In this level zero they say 'You can not withdraw temporarily, verify identification to increase withdraw limit' But I have completed all the steps of verification and even the level 2 of advanced verification. And however they continue blocking my withdrawal option. Even more, now I can not trade cryptos. It is incredible!!!
I write different requests where I explain them my problems but they play dumb. It sounds murky and consequently I do not trust this company.

Beware of Bitmart!!!

I am sorry if accounts of Bitmart have been hacked and I hope customers get their money back.
But here there are strange things and I do not like. Regarding Bitmart I am not optimistic at all.
Good luck with the reimbursement -if it happens finally!!!
I already give up my 50 dollars but at least it is only 50 dollars
