Is this really to look even while searching for the gold or while mining.

Mining has never been easy either as a beginner or an old-timer. We all mine in other to acquire bitcoin or ALT coins so we can either trade with them, HODL or invest. I never knew how easy it would be to make profits from Bitcoins until a high school friend introduced me to MMM Gobal and ever since then I have never had the need to check the price of bitcoins except I want to convert my coins into FIAT Money because either ways i still make profit from the investment. Now here is my invite to you:

Join millions of people around the world who makes 50% monthly or 25% in 2 weeks profits by investing in Bitcoin and other ALT coins. Its very easy, all you just do is Provide help and get help either in 2 weeks or 1 month, which ever you think is preferable for you. This is just the tip of the iceberg. When you are convinced you can thank me later. Finding it hard to believe? Well I was just like you........

Were they aluminum, or were they tinned copper? If you scratch the surface of one of the wires instead of just peeling back the jacket will tell you more. My cables are tinned copper so they show silver inside the jacket as well.

that is a good point  I will check that.

they sold out of the 2400 watt psus  I got 5 of them they were nice.

I checked and they seem to be aluminum.

Now you get me worried.  But I've checked the cables from parrallel and there is written 16AWG. So I think they are ok. If someone knows that the cables are not ok please let me know. I'll purchase from sidehack if necessary . I'm about to cut one of the spares to check is it aluminium or copper inside.

dude i did that on my cross wired cable it is silver color not copper color  so it is aluminum

basically

the 2400 watt psu is very good
the boards are good > most likely
the cables are so so

psu = a 9.5 and if you run 1 avalon 741  or 1 s-9 it goes up to a 9.7

boards = a 9  and I may drop that or raise with  long term testing

cables = a 7   would have been an 8 but the 1 of 80 cross wired lowers my score
dropped cable rating down
cables = a 6 of 10  due to the cross wire
cables = a 7 due to aluminum

This is for a 240 volt setup

at the moment they sold out of the 2400 watt delta psu

so they are only attractive on this deal

good for a lower powered 120 volt setup.

I have an affiliate link for them if the gear above works for you.

sidehack's 1200 watt hps deal is better then theirs and I don't have an affiliate link with sidehack

I was going to ask if it was Al or Cu but decided to hope they did not go THAT cheap on the cables... Makes one wonder about the socket pins they used as well. There are several types ranging from - um, rather poor as in plain phosphor-bronze up to excellent with either gold or silver selective plating. One guess as to what kind are used when the connector max current ratings are assigned and it ain't the el-cheapo ones....

Think I'll stick with getting cables from Sidehack when needed...

Yeah the psus are good but I do not think the cables are worthwhile.

As to wether the boards work well we will find out as I am sure the pedal to the metal miners will melt them if they are not good..

Shame as the psus do seem to be good.

It makes sense. Luckily, for PCIe power cables that bit of sloppy building doesn't matter as all 3 of each set are tied together on the PCB where the sockets are soldered. In other words each set of 3 wires act same as one big fat one. What matters is that the colors of each set into the plugs is the same.

Nonetheless that shows some very poor training of the folks assembling the cables. Running the wires straight takes almost zero time and effort...

Thanks for the info.

Thanks for the visual.

Checked mine from the same vendor. If I hold my cables the same way with the ends together, lock tabs up. My colors are black on top, white on the bottom. That looks good.

But, what if you lay them flat and follow each wire. Is each wire supposed to go in a straight line across to the same pin on each plug? Because I have some that do and some that do not.

Black
1---------------------1
2---------------------2
3---------------------3

White
1---------------------1
2---------------------2
3---------------------3

Some of mine are different config. Almost random...

Black
1---------------------3
2---------------------2
3---------------------1

White
1---------------------2
2---------------------1
3---------------------3

And another...

Black
1---------------------3
2---------------------1
3---------------------2

White
1---------------------3
2---------------------2
3---------------------1

Hope that makes sense.

How's the  PSU's sound levels at 1/2 and near full load? Looks like they use the little turbine fans.

IT is good at 1200 watts or 1 unit/.

it is why I got 5 psu's as in house it is a bit too noisy to run two of them on one unit.

That is one serious fuckup... You and your gear are very lucky the PSU crowbar'd - I believe you mention that it was discovered on power-up right?

Ja you have it right - the same color wires connect to the same side of the plugs on the ends of the cables. Even if they get the blk and yel sets reversed when compared to other cables what matters is that both ends MUST be the same.

yeah  the delta psu did its job  or by by avalon 741

five of these on hand the psu's are great.

but one of the 80 cables was a serious fuckup

Pretty sure that if it had been used with one of the 4kw monsters you have there would quite the impressive - and expensive - release of the Majik Smoke and not just from the cable...

I purchased 5 psu's from parallel miner   80 cables and I got one  that was cross wired

I checked photos this is the right way to show the issue

I sent this to the two of us I want to check and make sure I did it correctly

good  same wires to same side of plugs

bad cross wired same side of plug different wires
