This will serve as a warning to those people who don't know anything regarding this issues. Its actually pretty easy to figure out the scam from the legit ICO projects. Icos that ask for your private key is already fishy. So beware! Don't be stupid in giving away your private key in any bounty participation. And make sure that your accounts have 2FAs.
Sometimes people are distracted, inattentive and can give the private key to scammers. Everyone must remember not to give the private key to anyone. If someone asks for it's important, stay away from that person. Maintaining basic safety rules reduces the risk of losing money.
Typically anything that mentions that which is not available public knowledge is a scam. No private keys and if you are asked to give an email, these are free so it is easy to create a new email address for different projects/investments.
I would also suggest to checking for when will there be reward distribution for bounty participants because some campaign are starting to lock down payments for few months after ico is completed(with smart contracts)This campaign aint open about it and a lot of people are unaware of this,they usually say that it was writen in the whitepapper and lets be honest noone is reading that 
It is clear that it is not necessary to go to various obscure references and especially to introduce their private key.
If you are new you make mistakes like this. If you are experienced then sorry it is your mistake. Please do remember this: Nobody will ask you for private keys. If they do then just stay away from them. Simple right?

Thanks for this but for me I would never put a private key from any bounty reward . It will be suspicious for me at first attempt then I won't continue to submit any of my details either to be safe .

Any new beginner into cryoto should read the 101 on crypto.Giving away the wallet private key is like giving the ATM and the pin number .And remember if it's too good to believe then it's probably a scam
Yes thank's for the advice... There are a lots of scammer who emerged now... I can't help myself to think that this scammer will dominant us especially those person who work legally and hardly... Its quite unfair that there a lots of person who work like that... We cant blame them it is easy to make this than to work hard... But its not good... I also have opinion that if a person just keeps his eyes open and uses his brain or question all the demands of an ICO, it is not very difficult to plot a scam. Scams are actually very easy to be spotted out.They ask for credentials that are not even the requirement of the task being performed. Scammers will always try to get their hands on important and private information. Still, people are scammed and the rate is increasing gradually.

never ever believe anyone who is asking for your private key, this is a scam, hopefully people now should be able to distinguish legit from fake.
Becarefull they probably want to hack you through phising or they want to know your id. Bpunty manager will never email bounty hunter for claiming the payment. It will be done automatically i always do bounty and never give anything through email.
That's true that is why I always ignore email that asks for my private key or sends them funds to a particular wallet, everything has a process for this, these scammers are now innovative always find ways to scam newbies so beware.

This is a scam, usually the sender makes almost the same as the bounty or ICO that is running at that time. and my advice do not open links linked in the email, if you want to check the truth you only see the official site in the sender's email and manually open it through a new tab. And do not believe a bit if the site is very similar to the wallet site.

One should be an idiot to give somebody his private key - it's like giving your banking card pin or cvv code.

There are so many of this kind of scammer they are sending email to there victim like that and asking your private key even in slack and telegram they are also usualy doing that send you a messege.

I will never trust any company or person that ask my private key its like giving away all your funds to your wallet, this is a big no no people should educate himself that private keys are private property, even asking your private key is a big no no it's a sign that its a scam project.

Nowadays scammera are trying new methods to scan your data and taking its advantage. These emails fraud are categorizee under fishing method of scams.You need to be aware about such things and most of all you should never give your codes and private keys to anyone for such fake rewards.They ask for 3 hours to transfer your all money to their account.Avoid such scammy mails if you want your money safe.

could've been ascertained it was a scam. When did receive a gift then surely based on following an activity or registration and do not need to enter a private key. just ignore that kind of stuff for the sake of its own security.

No one is ask the private key and account password. But many beginners are wrongly paste the private keys in some bounty campaign. This is main reason to hack the private account but some fake airdrop and bounties are not a easy to identify in crypto platform because many trust projects also failed in anytime so suddenly close the project.

Scammers just try their luck by sending these emails to many people. If one or two they success also they will make an easy money because recently many new investors came to cryptos. I also receive lots of e-mails everyday, I even gave up using this account and opened another one. I think people also should avoid ICOs offering like 50%, 75% bonuse to early participants.

You are right, this is fraud. I constantly receive emails with various kinds of spam. In the beginning I became the owner of a super bonus, then I won some tokens, whose name I heard for the first time. This is a 100% scam!
