If you canceled the download before its end then you're fine. And even if it's finished if you didn't launch the exe it's ok

Thanks for the reply sir, I now feel relieved. Smiley

I'm glad that others are also aware of the stinky deeds of this account. Actually, I criticized his post a while ago and also decided to report him but then there's suddenly happened. ALL of his spam posts in the Economics section vanished in a glimpse which makes me hesitate to report him (I just thought that maybe it's just a system error). So weird Huh

OMG! I accidentally clicked on the link but I closed the tab before the link finished its loading. My question is, am I now infected by the malware? (I hope not) Sad

Just report them. We had one of these yesterday, and once users click the links it likely has a knock-on effect with more users getting infected and spreading the same malware. I banned him. Will remove the posts now.

The User TakerTrade (https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/takertrade-886752) seems to have been hacked. A bot on his account is currently flooding (more than 100 msg in less than an hour) the forum with message like this https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/are-we-moving-towards-centralized-private-blockchains-4688734

Don't ever click on the picture.

Admin could you ban this user or restrain his account and delete all of its last post?
Thanks
