you just can't find someone to trust anyone. that list of escrow are reliable users here in the forum. but there ain't just someone with a real name on the internet that will act as escrow for which you can sue if things go wrong. shits can happen every time. i wanted to buy stuff too but if it cost more than $1k i'd rather do it offline and visit a real store even if i have to drive 6 hours.

*dont be in a rush
Firstly important step in transaction is to be patient. Being greedy and in a rush can be detrimental and it does not give you adequate time to observe any fraudulent moves

*request for the history of the escrow agent or bodies. Most times fraudulent escrow does not have any traceable or legit history and even if the have it is always false so you can request for one

*dont go for an escrow agent requested by the other party. Fraudulent buyer or seller can recommend an escrow so as to justify there legitimacy never be in a haste to accept it

*never be slow to walk away when you notice something is not right.  Once you notice a fowl play no matter how slight withdraw from the transaction
I would summarize it with just choose reputable and honorable members of community. That is enough.
There is many people to choose from, never choose new members or semi new members as escrow.

If only there was a way one could easily find an escrow easily than looking for names on a link that certain people may not get unless given by somebody you has it and that somebody has to see your thread requesting for such information, if not well.

I'm thinking what if It is made as easy as identifying someone with red trust by simply clicking on their profile? I don't know how, its just my thought like certain members will have it attached to their profile like the copper membership, boldly written.

Thanks for sharing the most reliable list of escrowers. I think that last year there were a few very legit escrowers that would do it for free, in exchange of a donations if the parties agreed, but in the list I can only see escrowers that do it for a little percentage (1% that seems quite reasonable to me).

If anyone is searching for an escrow of a limited amount and wants to work on a donative basis and not a fixed percentage I can't give any prior successful trades but I'm willing to be an impartial escrower if you wish (I can't imagine other way to gain experience and prove that I'm trustworthy).

So, if you're wanting to escrow a big amount of money, don't be greedy and contact one of the top escrowers in exchange for a 1%. If you are willing to escrow a smaller amount, send me a private message if you want and I'll mediate in exchange of some good trust and a donation if you want Wink.

You should always verify the addresses that an escrow asks you to use. There are many users that will fake a name and pose as an escrow, but all you need to do in these cases is check the trust history; every single reputable escrow will have an abundance of trust, varied from DT and otherwise. Most escrows have an iconic avatar (although, do not be fooled, as these can easily be replicated), and are never newbies. If you see that you are discussing an escrow with a newbie, then you are about to be scammed. You should walk away and report this in the forum as soon as possible. I've been taken for a ride by an escrow scam in the past, I am not proud of it, but I was fooled by the 3rd party communications we were using. It wasn't on this site, but the same rules apply, be vigilant, check trust, ask for signed messages if you must, and always check your escrow against the list of recognized reputable escrows. It happens to the best of us, but in my case it occurred because I was rushing the deal and just wanted to make my money quickly. Learn from my mistakes, and the mistakes of others so that you don't have to learn the hard way.
