Their ANN thread is full of newbies that are commenting "great project" an obvious thread bump.

You're right, lots of newbies and juniors bumping the thread.
The junior members in question aren't even wearing signatures. They're definitely not "regular" members.

I decided to move the thread to "scam and accusations" as this is getting irritating as hell.
Their ANN should be locked.

Yes, be careful. Items with incomplete information are often not serious projects.

Thanks for sharing, but if you know it is an obvious scam, then you can report it into the Scam accusation board.
So that project will be painted red here and its promotion on bitcointalk will stop.
Reread the op, there is no proof this is a scam... because there is nothing in this project.
That's why I posted in the beginners section, just to make them aware that it might be better to stay away.

A 12 page whitepaper with almost nothing in it :

Are they really desperate or it's part of their scheme not to put their team members?

If this is like a project of an 11th Grader, I'll commend those avatars but it's being used to scam people and promote a project so be cautious and be careful where you invest your money especially on this marine project.

Their ANN thread is full of newbies that are commenting "great project" an obvious thread bump.

who drew the graphics for that whitepaper, is it cool to have the random stuff in the text and an unaligned background?  Grin
Is Triton a guy?  Cheesy

to be fair, alot of projects use avatars for some reason, but not to even name any names.. big red flag!
