Yes, I'm an asshole
Guys fuck. Ive just got scammed by that...omfg...Ive lost about 1000€. Oh my god. I cant believe it. I wasnt able to find any negative information of cryptoruna. Nothing. Only - when I in the end - have seen the email [email protected] Ive realised it. But my money is gone already. Omfg. Im really shocked!!!!!

What can I do???
Please some advice?

I know that was stupid so please dont judge my for that. I just need help with that anyhow...

Did you also create an account on their website? If you did and you use similar email address and password as what you usually use for your other accounts, I would recommend to change the password of your accounts. Seems excessive, but I think you better be safe than sorry. It's kinda likely that they have access to see the password and email that their members use, and if you use similar pass and address with the one you use for other platforms, like this forum, facebook, twitter, Instagram, binance, etc., they could hack into it.

I wasnt able to find any negative information of cryptoruna.
None of us would've been able to find a review on them, since they've created it earlier in the month:
- Having said that, you should've checked for duplicate/plagiarized content instead [you would've got a different result and I'm going to list them]...

In my case, yes, they send a PM through telegram. It's not that difficult to get cryptocommunity's tg username these days.
There are a lot of scammers who are using the method of impersonating both on telegram as well as email also on other platform to scam people. They create fake airdrop and scam by impersonating. They never pay any fund but they shows proof that they are paying a lot of fund in each seconds.

And they have a lot of fake accounts, using those accounts to spread the word that they have received funds. After seeing their promotion, many new crypto users come to believe the fake airdrop / giveway created by the scammers, and later fall victim to the scam. These online criminals never want to give up, they are coming to the market with one new idea after another for the purpose of scamming crypto users.

Since I knew their motives, I did not fall into their trap. So their scam strategy is the same but they modify it more and more as time goes on.

Another concern that raised in my mind --as written on the lowest part of my post-- is a probability that someone thought there's nothing to lose in trying, they thought they'll just bail if something went wrong, so they signed up to check further, not fully realizing that they've surrendered their email and password to the scammers, which made all of their other accounts prone to a breach.

Did Tellor Crypto approaching its victim through telegram first?

So anyway, I applied as a merit source :)
On the contrary to what the OP wrote in less visible font at the top, many, I repeat, many users will fall for this scam and the proof that it is a profitable method to scam users is visible my the efforts they do to run the next scam. If it ended up being a waste of time for them, they would not keep doing it over and over again. I have been noticing such scams since the days I joined this forum and before a lot more time in real life too.

I hope the thread comes up in some google searches and some skeptical newbie has the guts to read this and realize that they are being fooled into giving away a "small" amount in exchange for a "promised" (
You guys should not even it call it an "Airdrop" - it is a "ScamGrab".

To anyone receiving a message from Tellor Crypto stating that you got 5 ETH to celebrate their launch and attract new users... yeah, if some things are just too good to be true, it probably is.

To be honest this kind of method wasn't differ with a scam in fiat currencies, where theres stranger send us a message that we won a grand prize (such as car, smartphone, or etc) from some brands and  they would ask us to send some money first as 'delivery' fees in order to receive the prize.

Scammers have already scammed lots of crypto users using this technique. In addition to the temptation of such fake airdrop, these scammers come up with many more lucrative offers. I once received an offer in the telegram that I had won 5 btc, but to get the BTCs in that prize I had to send 0.1 btc to the address given by them.

Since I knew their motives, I did not fall into their trap. So their scam strategy is the same but they modify it more and more as time goes on.

This type of airdrop is not new. And they will not give you a single dollar. Usually they show regular transaction while you will not get full wallet id or transaction id sothat you cant check the real history. And if they offer the payment on a website and shows this type of airdrop then those will be come from software generate. We should be aware like this type of airdrop either that come from any website, twitter, telegram or any other media.

Smart is not enough, there must be skills
2 fake exchanges giving giveaway codes.

It's the same as what I found before, with someone who sent a DM to my Discord and the statement was like that saying you won BTC or ETH by providing a code after that they asked for a deposit and this trick was commonplace from before so for me It's common to know this kind of trick will still be a beginner who needs to be aware of this.

First of all, I think this fraudulence method won't fool anyone... or shouldn't. But given no warning seems to be made on this forum yet, and with current ETH uprising and --a rather unrelated topic-- I saw one or two newbie somehow managed to get scammed by someone whose account clearly flagged, I think it's better safe than sorry. So...

To anyone receiving a message from Tellor Crypto stating that you got 5 ETH to celebrate their launch and attract new users... yeah, if some things are just too good to be true, it probably is.

Here's the screenshot of the reward

Upon registering, you'll get an email from Anaclark198266@gmail[dot]com

And apparently, the code worked, it'll reward your account with 5 eth, and then come the (non)fun part, you'll be required to deposit 0.1 eth to "verify your account" according to EU law dated 15th of May, 2018, which for some reason, they feel the need to put a timer on the deposit time --lord almighty knows how long an eth transfer could take-- as well as hiding the address

Now, if the fact that you somehow got very lucky that you're randomly selected amongst millions of human being to win 5 ETH from an exchange you barely heard of before, the requirement to perform a deposit in order to withdraw itself should have warned you. But, if you insist in doubting the dislegitimacy of this site --because hey, they have a support button and a live member-chat that's very active, I don't think the member-chat themselves are real. Why? I offered them the reward, none responded, so they're probably bot. What real user ignored a free 20,000 USD? Well, not me.

And this is their support, which apparently "online", but never replied although it's still their working hour.

If, after all of this, you still think you want to deposit 0.1 ETH, please read the commonsense utilized by this trustpilot reviewer

I think, it's very possible that the site act in two ways, one they hope they can taunt you into depositing 0.1 ETH into the account, which I am rather sure you still won't be able to withdraw after depositing, and two, by stealing your email and password, because it is very possible that a user uses the same email address and password on every account they have, so the email and password you use on this site --which they store-- is very likely to be the same with the ones you use on binance, bitcointalk, etc,
