Good PSA. I still have little pity with people falling for those kind of schemes, since everyone who is participating in a pump and dump is basically hoping for someone else to be the bagholder.

All those groups and promotions about pumping and dumping is a scam. People just try to make money by robbing the poor and innocent who trust in them or who has less knowledge about trading as well as the specifications of altcoins. I have followed all of them before and no one provides exact value.

The best advice I ever received was from my own experience in burning money in trading in my early days. I used to invest in the coins based on the opinion of the others (from trollbox) and I have lost my 100% capital when I tried pump schemes. I would like to share the same lesson, never ever invest even a Satoshi based on the opinion of any other individual. Doing own research is the best way to decide investment/trading strategy. Even if you lose, you learn the things that doesn't work so that you can avoid it next time.

i don't know why people even bother with pump groups! i mean it is pathetic to want someone else to spoon feed you so called "signals". it is one of the most obvious methods of scamming that it makes me laugh sometimes.
every time they release the name of a coin that they are supposedly pumping if you check the time and price you can see the price has already gone up before they even say its name! and that only means you will be buying into their bullshit.

This also applies to all the bullshit telegram groups that only "start pumping" when there's x number of people in the group.

Loads of these groups have been popping up recently due to the crypto bull market and frequent pumps happening.

Friendly reminder:  these whales do not announce their pumps in public.  Almost all manipulation goes on behind the scenes and I strongly doubt that create these groups without contacting people directly.

I've been on telegram watching these PnD groups like pumpndump pump & signal, Captains pump group, etc.  All scams.  Looked through their histories then went to look at the dates and times of the supposed "pumps".  Price goes up a few percent sometimes and thats usually the suckers grabbing the large btc sell orders available, then nothing else happens.  Don't buy this shit.

@Winningtrades4u has now blocked lots of accounts today and gone to "Verified followers only".  He's thus far been terribly wrong on MGO, MYST, and AGR to name a very small few.

Just going to give a word of advice on Twitter pumpers.  These guys function very similar to pnds where they buy their coins, pump them to followers then bail.
Classic example today on with winningtrades4u He read a Reddit post pumping a coin today and threw out some extreme misinformation "coin will go 1000%! Presale ending on bittrex". Dude didn't even do enough research to know the pre-sale isn't on bittrex it was direct from the dev, being resold by ppl who bought on bittrex. He claimed that after the pre-sale Ends the coin will go up 10x the closing price of end of trading the 30th of June. He didn't even go to the website to read the terms of sale nor check the bitcointalk thread.
Just words of caution to do your research first before buying the coins Twitterers pump to followers. Today was another in a long stream of examples. When I questioned him on it he sent me a link to the Reddit. Don't buy hype guys, be informed. Do your research.
