Right, so why not follow the instructions as it says on the display? They're telling you exactly what to do.

ok do I do a space before I past the code in the target I have this cgminer -o http://pool:port -u username -p password is that right I have v 4.3.2

On cgminer don't use -I, don't use icarus-options, don't use icarus timing and don't use -S. Wherever you read that is for ancient versions of cgminer. Always use the latest and read the readme.

hi when I open bfg miner it immediately closes and I did do the short cut heres what its targeted at -o stratum.bitcoin.cz:3333 -u xxxxxxxxx -p xxxxxxxx -G -S all –icarus-options 115200:1:1 -icarus-timing 3.0=100 and cgminer does that too heres what I got on cg miner

-o stratum.btcguild.com:3333 -u xxxxxxxxxx -p xxxxxxxx -I 9 --icarus-options 115200:1:1 --icarus-timing 3.0=100 -S //./COM3
