Are you seeing both cores in cgminer ?

I think 3.7.2 is the last that supports GPU's - atleast it's the last to support scrypt.

find somewhere old version of cgminer (3.7.x) since new versions doesn't support gpu-s.

add this to command line next to pool and worker,
for 5970:

-I 20 -g 1 -w 128 --thread-concurrency 8000

for r290x:

-I 20 -w 512 --thread-concurrency 24000 -g 2

For some reason I have only been able to get bfgminer working for me when I am mining coins. If I try to use any of the others dos just closes out right away. Ive done some tweaking but I can only get my Radeon 5970 to hash at around 480-540 when on the table it says it should be mining at around 700 any ideas or  where to look to set up the best configured code for this card and also for my new card r290x ?

Thanks for the help and support
