You didn't comment on my thread about the same issue, but would you consider pulling your BFL ads, at least for until we know if the company is legit or not, or are you just happy that you're getting paid regardless of if the customers are getting screwed for thousands of dollars? Even if the specs are correct, the delivery estimates almost certainly are not.

[edit] Don't mean to sound like it's an accusation, more of a suggestion.
You say that as if there's any reasonable doubt that BFL is legit, which there never has been.
There never has been? Hmm? Were you around when they announced FPGAs?
Yep, it's still working great over a year later Smiley

Oh it's Luke-Jr, my favorite shill.

It's pretty amazing, even more so what with him being such a devout christian.

Remember, Luke:

Don't let my heart turn toward evil or involve itself in wicked activities with men who practice iniquity.

Apologies for posting this thread in the wrong section. I see now that meta is the better option for this sort of thing.

Did anyone try contacting them to see if they can update? Seems like a more reasonable approach.

I love how GMaxwell is so quick to bury these threads.

And Theymos tells me that he doesn't think it's reasonable to say that BFL are liars.

This isn't bait and switch because there are no other products to up sale to the buyer. They are currently selling a product that doesn't exist, has never existed and probably will never exist. It is just plain fraud.

No product exist, therefore all ads by BFL that misrepresent their current product line must be removed immediately.

Quote
Bait-and-switch is a form of fraud used in retail sales but also practiced in other contexts. First, customers are "baited" by merchants' advertising products or services at a low price, but when customers visit the store, they discover that the advertised goods are not available, or the customers are pressured by sales people to consider similar, but higher priced items ("switching").
