That is pretty insane, but understandable (especially if BFL starts to actually ship soon). I wonder what I could get for my Single ordered in August or my other one from November. I'd be curious to see how high bidders are willing to go.
They've been selling for over $20k on eBay, but I'm assuming the buyer is just planning to file a dispute and waste the sellers time once they get it, only to return it after mining on it for a week and getting a full refund.

^That's what I thought to but I guess they assumed it is better than the wait in addition someone recently sold an early Avalon @~20,500 on Ebay.

It's crazy the prices they are going for... I'd be sorely tempted to sell my first-day preorder for $20k.

EDIT:  Screw it.  If someone wants to pay me $20k for a first-day (ordered and paid) preorder of a Single SC, then contact me, I'll do it.

I don't know if this is true or not but I found it interesting that they got tired of waiting for their ASICs.
