I have a decent stack of LGA775 P4 and PD 2.8+, couple CelD ~2.6, probably around 20 CPUs. Don't really have need of any BFL hardware but we could work something out.

YGPM

Last year I went through a phase and tested a lot, threw away anything that was extremely old or useless... lol

I could do with doing that, keep thinking I'm going to make a good dent but some emergency or other crops up. I kid you not I think I have boards for an Altair somewhere. The plan is eventually to have a "representative example" of each generation and lose the rest.

Hi Folks,

Well we all know that BFLs 65nm tech looks like being rapidly outdated. But then we "knew" that 150/130nm ASICs were 10 years out of date when it hit the market. Yet somehow they ruled the entire first half of 2013, while everyone else was stuck in development hell. Will history repeat with the 28nm wonder machines? I don't know, but having some hefty discounts off 65nm chips sitting in your pocket could be a good hedge against getting stuck without hash, as bitcoin price goes vertical, envying the owners of that "outdated" tech, as we all were in the spring. Chips seem to be shipping quick from BFL, there's independant board projects to support and there's reported success in adding them to the now "pocket change price" jalapenos.

So there would seem to be value in these yet.

I am willing to consider that there might be value in your "old junk" too, since I do the "tech support" for a large extended family of technological laggards, and the too lame to game stuff is perfect for their browsing and facebook addictions.

So I have 48 credits worth $25 face value each off each BFL ASIC in 3 packs of 16. Delivery will be by transferring to your BFL account. Delivery of the goods for trade will need to be to Ontario Canada, so US guys probably don't wanna ship me whole system units.

I can use AMD AM2 stuff, DDR2 stuff, socket 775 stuff, DDR I could use 1GB modules of, got PLENTY of any smaller size... which means I could maybe use any of those old server motherboards that take 6 or 8 DDR modules and have a decent speed xeon or opteron in. (Have reg and ecc) I'm also needing dx10 or better PCIe cards with 256MB or better for basic graphics, yah, GPUs for looking at not hashing, go figure. Any other platforms considered if you're willing to part with CPU/motherboard combos of reasonable ooomph. can use X2s C2Ds PDs, etc. HDDs bigger than 200Gb, SSDs of small sizes, CF cards of 4GB up. Also consider "stuff to dick around with" older androids, moddables, hackables etc. Anything that needs a reflow/repair even I could be interested in.

I'm starting to feel bad now that these have been sitting in my account when "maybe someone could use them" got 5 year old hardware you feel the same about? Great, lets figure something out. Any and all offers now entertained.

so wotchya got?
