Hi I have a 5Ghash jalapenio. It was mining along just fine and I pulled the power connector out of the back, then when I plugged it back in there was only a blinking red light in the back. Every time it blinks the fan will start turning then slow to a stop, as if it is only getting a pulse of power. If I pull the power connector out of the back it will stop, but if I pull the power from the wall, it will continue to blink and the fan turn for about three more blinks and fan pulse turns. I’m wondering if it’s the power supply? Is this a fixable problem?
The light in the back is not supposed to blink, so I woudl say yes, it sounds like a power supply problem.
