Tape out August 2013

No evidence they taped out in August 2013 for this product. Their page is therefore tagged PANTS ON FIRE until they rectify that, either revise or remove that claim.

Looks like BFL opted for the latter.

OK so i ordered a Jall base model on the 23rd of june 2013 and i ordered the upgrade a week later.

just checked the BFL Blog and....

Jalapenos 4.5 and 5 gh/s: Feb 12-14, 2013 no Jallys shipped today

have they halted production on the upgraded units?

Dear Techkojj,

To address your concern, production of jalapenos have not been halted, and we have been producing them at very high-speed since the beginning (as it's easier to assemble).

Thanks,
Nasser

Pants on Fire!

Absolutely no evidence in the record to support production at VERY HIGH SPEED since the beginning in fact production rates are slow and spotty at best given BFL's own admissions over the past 13 months.

I bestow the burden on you to provide an animated GIF PoF image.

COPY PASTE is your FRIEND! The internet is a large place search.

Okay, fine! But a giraffe standing a zebra that's standing on an elephant should be impossible to find. Just to prove that Google doesn't have everything.

Simple rules.

Find a BFL quote that is an outright lie and post it with the pants on fire. Comments welcome below your pants on fire posts.

Here is the easiest one.

When is the Jalapeno getting FCC approval?

Maybe two weeks? We are waiting for the test lab to issue the test report.

With the bump in power requirements on the MR and the new screen, we had to make changes, although the new screen is already certified.  We are doing all the devices at once, since they all share the same board.

'We are doing ALL THE DEVICES at once, since they share the same board'... Oh really?

Evidence to prove that this was actually done?

None.

I call this one Pants on FIRE!

https://yourlogicalfallacyis.com/burden-of-proof <--- Remember the BURDEN is on the person making the claim they are doing all the devices at the test lab and in maybe two weeks they will know.

The obvious response from BFL for a lot of threads that seem to point to their "inconsistencies" is to go for ad hominem attacks just remember:
