All the GPU miners will panic, dump their BTC, and start mining some shady pump'n'dump or scamcoin.

Nice theory about BFL stealing all our money by mining on the sly, but my client tells me the difficulty level is 10 million, not 80 million. 
the recent downtrend was probably BFL labs dumping all the coins they mined with your asics.
