Do you think these statements hold any truth or is it just a trick to save votes?
You know the answer already brother and it's another publicity stunt to do the latter. A trick or not, a truth or not, politicians especially with the highest position in the USA will do everything to get people's trust from all of the different sectors that they have probably researched that has a lot of voters that shall be an opportunity for them to get into it and start talking and discussing topics that are in relation to it to set the rapport.

In my honest opinion it's quite a stupid move by Biden's campaign especially given that much of his platform are either very indifferent towards crypto or even outright hate it due to environmental reasons.
It's been long overdue when he should have done that. But people do remember and it's easy to understand if these programs are for them or just another decoy to front for the voters to get their sentiments. Well, every election, the voters are becoming wiser and if the current administration didn't perform well, it's very likely that they are going to replace it with someone that their sentiments is with. It may not be perfect and flawless but they know something good is happening and it's going to be with their favor.

In of the most ridiculous 180 degree turns in politics, the Biden campaign has come out with an outreach program. This is a few weeks after Trump started being staunchly pro-crypto. What a crazy fucking turn of events, isn't it? The administration that had the strictest approach towards crypto adoption, now changing its stance completely.

Follow their action and not be tricked by what they say or promise, To me I tag it as election campaign wining strategy or campaign promisese which cannot be fulfilled after election, if his administration really meant for the crypto industry why is he anti crypto with his policies through the SEC chair? or is it now that Trump has promised what he will do if he wins election that he now realized himself, oh is it now that Joe Biden is waking up? Watch out if any of this will happen if he is returned President of the United states.

It is likely that this is one of Biden's election strategies. The old senile man already understands that he will definitely not be elected for a second term, because with all his actions he made it clear to the people that while in the post of president, he does not decide anything, but only carries out orders. All that Biden cares about now is providing financial assistance to Ukraine, and as for cryptocurrency, Biden has no interest in it.

Donald Trumps is best considered the reliable Crypto enthusiastic choice to Joe Biden's trikish terms because he'd definitely be a potential risk to crypto adoptions as he may lately figured to aid his political ambition with the crypto enthusiasms.
Trumps has been on this path of pro crypto for long now and that has also proffered him a strong reliability that the dominance of crypto adoptors would be an advantage to his victory against his election and formally Biden being acting like an anti crypto is just finding out that his support to crypto adoptions would attract him victory as well.
What a fowl play of him, there's no form of securing electoral victory that these scummy politician can't play along on.

whether trump or biden, both of these people are just using crypto as their campaign. they are not really pro crypto, i even doubt that they know what crypto really is. so these are just campaign promises, no one can hold their words because when they are in the presidential seat later, they will forget all these promises. so there is no need to expect too much from these politicians.

It is obviously a trap, something intended to save votes, as you suggest.
Biden must have some people within his political war room who realized that the shifting towards Bitcoin am cryptocurrency by Trump actually helped him in the polls, so they have realized there is a percentage (which cannot be neglectable) of people who would be willing to vote for either Biden or Trump based on their approach to decentralized assets like Bitcoin.
This is outright hypocrisy, demagogy even, they adsy saying something to reach s mean, not because they actually feel it to be the right to do politically. Not long ago people here in the forum were discussing a plan the Biden administration had to impose very high and unsustainable fees to miners within the United States . Now out of the blue he is rooting for Bitcoin and the liberty it represent? it does not pass the smell test, if you asked me...
even though I do not agree with Donald Trump in any topic or issue, I agree with him when he says Biden does not even know what Crypto is.

If you ask me it's crazy how badly BOTH candidates perform on popular issues. Crypto is low in the list of how important things are compared to the other atrocities caused by the big parties in America.

You name it. Ukraine, Israel-Palestine, Trade, Inflation, Taxation... We're at a point where we're again counting who's the lesser of two evils. Biden is faaaar from applying any popular measure that people voting for him might have hoped for. Nothing real in terms of student loans, nothing in healthcare, no taxing the rich, absolute warmonger foreign policy. In the meantime people both in the left and right are protesting against wars, but politicians being bought for by lobbyists keep voting what they're bought for to vote.

Maybe another Trump presidency will give crypto a short term boost. But even if he follows his promises, we need more than that if we want real change if you ask me.

Yep. It's difficult to recognize true freedom by the politicians, or if they are simply faking it.

Watch a short segment by Timcast - Tim Pool interviewing Trump. The 17-minute Trump segment starts about an hour and a half into the video. Watch Trump and then decide who is telling the truth and who is faking it. Note that the rest of the video is extremely good, as well.
