Now that Biden is out of the US presidential race, can BTC get to 100k please??

The influence of first world countries always have an effect on tradable assets like bitcoin, I won’t be surprised to see a great chance for bitcoin to move to a big price that’s below our expectations. Trump has turned to be a crypto enthusiast when he was looking to go for the seat of the president of the United States, this was great news to the crypto community. Until he has delivered on his promises, I don’t think any of us will still believe fully in politician promises until that has been executed. I reserve my words on this and await to see how Trump will fulfill his promises when he becomes the president which obviously he’s certainly going to win.

That's actually not how US politics work. See, there's another Democratic candidate, Kamala Harris, who is polling better against Trump and Biden was--and Biden was in a dead heat with Trump before he dropped out. Trump is more likely to lose now.

Bitcoin went up 500% under president Biden.

You don't need Trump or anybody else to make Bitcoin go up.

You said Trump is more likely to lose? I don't think so, [...]

I only go by the scientific polls. They aren't perfect, but they sure beat "feelings".

If it were up to "feelings", then RFK Jr. would probably be winning Smiley.

I think it’s probably good news because the Biden administration has been hostile towards Bitcoin. Trump has so far in this election run up talked kindly about Bitcoin so a Republican administration should he good. I also think Harris has no chance against Trump so it should be good for us.

There is no evidence "the Biden administration has been hostile towards Bitcoin":

1. Bitcoin went up 500% under president Biden.

2. The ETFs were approved under president Biden.

Meanwhile, Harris is polling better against Trump than Biden was, and she is turning the entire campaign around. Biden was 50/50 in the polls, so I suspect Harris will greatly increase the odds.

This will be a very close election.

And for those of you that don't live in the USA, the odds of Trump actually getting more votes than Harris is... close to zero. The only reason Trump can win is because our system makes it so you can win the race with a minority of voters.

With Biden out of the picture I think the only threat Trump have at the moment has been removed but that doesn't mean things won't get a bit difficult for him during the election and is also a shocking news for him, I mean Biden to drop out of the race. It still doesn't guarantee us that Bitcoin will dash out to a $100k in no time, we shouldn't be too excited about the smooth passage of Bitcoin price at the moment, as of 2-3 weeks back the market price was struggling to gain its ground around $50-$59k and as soon as the Trump issue came up it triggered the rapid move of BTC price so I believe the movement will soon be back to normal, this is just a political affairs that has to do with Bitcoin that is what I feel is happening but a $100k we'll get there not immediately.

You said Trump is more likely to lose? I don't think so, I believe he even has the upper hands against Biden, he (Biden) shouldn't have pulled out of the presidential race if he's has all it takes to beat Trump. From how positive Trump do speak about Bitcoin I think that's why Bitcoin price went up, is like a support Bitcoin was expecting or never had in a long while not that is Trump himself that made the price to grow so fast, never said that and by the way the market price can still drop back to a familiar amount before the month of July runs out.

Cool

It is a funny thing to say, to be honest.
So what if president Biden appears on live television addressing some issue of the nation, in the Senate or the house or representatives? would it be a body double, right? Because there is a pattern I have noticed from conspiracy theorist: they seldom admit they were wrong and instead continue to push their narrative further by putting a completely different conspiracy theory (more utrageous than the first one) so they do not end up being ridiculed by their own followers.
The only one who I have seen to apologize and admit to be wrong was Alex Jones, and only after he got himself cornered in the defamation lawsuit he lost to the parents of the victims of Sandy Hook. That is the only way someone like him would admit to be wrong, by punishing him financially.

Of course, he might be dead. I think that they would have a very difficult time finding an actor that looked like Biden, and could imitate him successfully.

Seems that they can't find Biden. Seems that the signature on his resignation letter is fake. Seems that the whole resignation letter is not official. Where is Biden? Is he dead? Are they faking the whole thing about Biden, now? If so, this is completely against the law and the Constitution.

Is President Biden Alive?

https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/president-biden-alive
Before I even start with my analysis, I want to make the point that I hope President Biden is doing fine and on the path to recovery from Covid, as his doctor claimed in a letter (I'll discuss below) that he was. I hope we can take the administration at their word, but I also think it's helpful to not ignore mounting critical questions for our country.

I don't want to start the morning off with hyperbole or sensationalism, honestly, but rather with what, in my opinon, has developed as a legitimate question over the last 24 to 48 hours: is the current President of the United States still alive and/or fit to lead?

Ever since dropping out of the presidential race on Sunday via a letter with a signature that has been in question and conspicuously lacking the seal of the White House or President of the United States, President Joe Biden has failed to turn up anywhere in person.

His execelly, Biden has demonstrated the spirit of sportsmanship for quiting is re-election ambition considering his age and health status and I really commend him for not being power monger. I think that's what every reason leader that has the progress of the nation at heart should do but thinking of the appreciation of Bitcoin as the result of his dropping his rerun ambition is still not certain but depends on the enconomic policy

100k is still possible with or without Donald Trump. Quite a pity Biden is out of the race. Only time will tell if Trump will really keep to his words concerning bitcoin. You won't blame me for finding it hard to believe that Trump means well for bitcoiners. Trump is a politician! He has been there before and we all saw how everything went, maybe he will disappoint naysayers like me and do better this time around because the expectations are high and there are higher chances that he will get more votes.

Good news I guess. The other candidate won't change a damn and Trump will win anyway so having a crypto-friendly president in the office will be a good thing for us.

I read this comment and that of another user online - "Good decision to step aside but he should have done this earlier . Bad choice to select cackling absentee Vp Kamala. Never liked her then, more so now.  Unless another democratic presidential candidate is selected, I am shifting my vote to Trump in November.  I predict many Democrats will do the same." And though I am not a US citizen, it is obvious that this may be the sentiments of the electorates come November.

However, abortion is illegal automatically. Why? It's a trust that involves 4 parties: Man, Woman, Child to be, God. Breaking of a sacred trust is illegal just like the breaking of any other contract. It needs to be adjudicated that way for anybody who wants to stop it.

Don't ever change, Mr. Decker  Cool.

Thank you for showing everybody the mainstream opinion of US Republicans and the policies and goals of the Republican party.

After years of calling abortion "baby murder" (and they still are), Republicans are now, for the next few months, trying to tell Americans that they aren't really serious about making abortion illegal, even though it's in their written platform and perfectly aligns with their stated goals from the last 50 years, and they have a clear legal pathway to do it now.

Vote for Trump if you, like almost all registered Republicans, want abortion to be illegal in the United States.

Vote for Harris if you want it to stay legal like it has been for the last 60 years.

It's as simple as that.

Well, Biden has certainly acknowledge some of the mistakes and bad behavior his son has been found guilty of. He needed to acknowledge it in order for him to publicly say he would not pardon his own son for the federal charges he is going through because of lying to the federal government to get a handgun. Though, I admit if Trump had a family member which was a fraction as politically problematic Hunter is, it is very likely CNN would take advantage of it and broadcast it on their channel in a similar way Fox does. In the end corporate media uses the same tactics, regardless on the political leaning of them.

With religion still extremely popular in the USA, I doubt many people give a shit about abortion.
Maybe 10-15% tops of the electorate.

The vast majority of people are sensible; do forward planning, use pills or condoms (or both).

A bunch of loud mouthed female media pundits hardly represent what everyone wants.
They all hated Trump in 2016 also.

Something like 67% of Americans want abortion here to stay legal.

Taking away a fundamental right from a large population is generally a very unpopular thing.

And to stop the millions of woman in the USA from having abortions, Trump will need to create the largest police state ever created in the USA--and police states don't tend to be compatible with things like Bitcoin, FYI....

Trump doesn't have plans to make abortion illegal. He simply remanded the issue back to the States rather than letting the Federal have anything to do with it.

However, abortion is illegal automatically. Why? It's a trust that involves 4 parties: Man, Woman, Child to be, God. Breaking of a sacred trust is illegal just like the breaking of any other contract. It needs to be adjudicated that way for anybody who wants to stop it.

But to get back on topic, Biden is having trouble remembering that he dropped out.

"Oh man, he's not going to like this," said longtime aide Sally Connors. "Maybe we can wait until after four, and then he won't remember?"

According to sources, aides plan to try to sandwich the news between bits of good news in an effort to soften the blow. "We could start off by reminding him that it's National Ice Cream Day," said aide Mike Thomas. "Then, breeze real fast through the 'you have dementia, no one likes you, your career is over, and your party betrayed you', then tell him that the cafeteria is serving shepherd's pie for lunch tomorrow? Eh?"

Honestly, I never thought possible Jode Biden would have the courage to step forward and give up on the candidacy for the sake of his country. I thought he was going to remain in the race despite of all the criticism he was getting from a sector of the left and within his party. I guess I was wrong.

Depending on who the democrat party and voters decide to be Trump's for in this incoming election, it would be still an easy win for him or actually be likely for him to lose his advantage. Let us wait and see.

Also, after this I am expecting all news coming from Fox about hunter Biden suddenly be gone off their broadcast.

The latter may happen simply due to the fact why should anyone care about a criminal son from a previous president
but seriously, did he look like a stand up guy?

If Trump had a second cousin doing just 10% of that shit,
it would be all over CNN 24/7.

Furthermore to expand on this... Biden was always proud of his son, never acknowledging even one bad thing Hunter did, which is ridiculous considering the circumstances.

Trump was never afraid to get personal and told many people "Don't drink!" and often mentioned his alcoholic brother who died super young.

I think in that light Trump at least probably helped people rather than brush over ridiculous coke snorting criminal behaviour within a family.

That's only right decision that Biden could make, but I think it was made way too late. It's basically declaring Trump as a winner. Now Democrats will replace Biden with Kamala Harris, and considering how ''popular'' she is, she stnd no chance against Trump. Just looked what bookamkers is offering now - 1.50 for Trump, 3.20 for Harris, I think it says a lot.

Unless there is fake mail in voting (again) those odds are FAR too favourable for Harris.
Should be 1.1 Trump and 10.0 Harris thereabouts.

It's probably good news for Bitcoin since Harris has a much better chance of defeating Trump, and Trump would have been very harmful to the future of Bitcoin (he promises to set criminals like SBF free--and SBF caused Bitcoin to drop by 60%, for instance).

After years of Republicans making this "personal" and going after "Hunter Biden" and making fun of Joe Biden's age, they are now going to need to discuss policy which is a death-knell for Republicans.

Bitcoin is not affiliated with any political party even if Trump keeps on mentioning it and making it the forefront of his campaign this news only give more if not all chances to Trump to win

This news will decrease the chances of Trump winning since the replacement for Biden is a much stronger candidate.

Im not a fan of Trump, but as a non-American looking at it from afar, this decision by Biden was obvious to me.

Very much expected for a man of his age coupled with battling serious health problem the democrats should have known better right from the onset that Biden can't make a successful re-election as US president for a second time if he's to go head log with Trump under such circumstance. Fornme I love the dimension American politics is taking within these few months to the polls, the democrats making unintended party changes possible without much ado not long after a failed  assassination attempt on the Republican candidate. Let see what smoke the democrat through Kamal Harris fire can have on trump's now that Biden has taken a bow.

Trump would have easily won the elections if he contested against Joe Biden. US citizens already know that the president is incapable of running for another four years, so he wouldn't have gotten enough support. With Kamala Harris as the democrat flag bearer, the race will not be easy for Trump

Trump has many policies that should be considered before voting for him, being a crypto-friendly president shouldn't be the only criteria for voting for him. How are we sure that he would even implement laws that will favor the crypto community if he becomes the president? Politicians make very good promises when they want your support, after the election you will know their true color. I wonder how Kamala Harris will be able to win Trump in this election. Her sex and race will be the greatest obstacle to becoming the first female president of the United States.

Trump suggested he intends to back the USD with bitcoin.  Not sure how that would work, but if it means ending he Federal Reserve it's no wonder _they_ tried to kill him.

It will be interesting to see if the DNC sticks with Harris.  I get the impression she's not liked by the American people.  I don't think the Democrats can beat Trump, not even if they switch Harris out with California's governor, Gavin Newsom.  Unless they cheat again, of course.

We have to consider that Gary Gensler isn't evil. He has deep knowledge of how bitcoin works. He was one of the first people to ever teach about the blockchain in a university setting.
He knows crypto. He knows markets. And he knows customer protection.

Hopefully with his knowledge there will never be another FTX/Celsius or MtGox. Honestly something had to be done with these as the image of crypto was being run amock and tarnished like never before to the masses. And that's not to say that Gensler did a lot to stop crypto ponzi schemes... But can you imagine what will happen udner Trump if he deregulates everything and fires everyone at the SEC?

We'd have to say bye bye to consumer protection as we know it. The man literally sold his own NFTs. If you like BTC you must also understand that NFTs are a scam. Trump isn't a fan of BTC, he's a fan of quick money and he's ready to ride on crypto to achieve his personal goals. So if I was American I wouldn't entrust him with my vote just because he said he's not against crypto. Gensler isn't against crypto either. He just did his best to prevent banks/ICOs etc from taking advantage of people even more through crypto.

For me it's a bit of a surprise... I thought Joe Biden would remain a Trump contender but he dropped out of the US race a few minutes ago.

Is it because he is too old because he is over 80 years old... People always say that Joe Biden has started to forget his memory.

After seeing the presidential debate between Biden and Trump I instantly knew that either Trump wins the election with a massive margin network his votes and that of Biden OR Biden realize that there’s no hope for him and drop from the presidential race - and it just happened that the failed assassination on Trump life’s made him realize his position.

Quote
Lastly, are you saying that after Joe Biden drops out bitcoin could reach $100K? It's not going to be straightforward, even if Biden wins the US election I still believe Bitcoin could go to $100K, that politics is full of promises that cannot be fulfilled.

I’ve already taken my mind off bitcoin getting to $100k this year, but nothing is impossible with bitcoin, so let’s watch and see if Donald Trump victory can somehow get bitcoin to reach that price.

It’s certainly a good news for Bitcoin since Trump has become a strong supporter of the cryptocurrency. He is scheduled to be a guest at the Bitcoin 2024 conference, where he promises to support and help in Bitcoin's growth. This news of Biden dripping from presidential race is just another reason to know who the next President of the United States for sure, and automatically increasing trust in Bitcoin among the public after Trump officially wins.

I expect Bitcoin's price to rise once again because of this, possibly reaching another ATH soon. Currently, the market is sluggish with movements of only a few hundred dollars a day. In fact, this news could be the beginning of a new bullish trend for the market.

However, Americans may not vote for Trump mainly because of his alleged support for Bitcoin, since he allegedly started supporting Bitcoin lately, knowing that he was against it. Probably this total change is only to gain more votes.

It's going to be a different fight now since Trump is no longer against Biden. Trump against Biden seemed to be an easier fight for the former. But since it wouldn't be the case anymore, it seems a Bitcoin president, as what others may label Trump, will have a harder fight, something he might not even win.

Although a Trump presidency isn't a guarantee that the US will have Bitcoin's back, that it happens seems more possible because of Trump's pro-Bitcoin statements during his campaign. He may not walk the talk in the end, but Bitcoin's chances are higher. I'm not saying, however, that Bitcoin needs the support of a president to succeed.
We will have to see who ends up being the candidate that runs against Trump, however whoever that may be, they will have great problems attacking Trump from now on, as he can always deflect whatever threat they believe he may pose by reminding people about the attack he suffered, something that he is doing already and very effectively at that, this makes me think that unless something extraordinary happens, most likely Trump will be able to get the win.

When I saw some news going around that Barrack Obama advice Biden to step down for the party so another credible person can take over, the X handler of Biden was quick rush to tweets things like he is still the President of United state, he is still the flag bearer of the Party and while saying all this, you are on sick bed begging for survival, this is funny and pitiful at the same time but I hope he recover and finished his tenure and go sit home and watch over his health and grand kids.

Now that Biden is out of the race, who knows who is going to be the next of the party, nobody can tell but if Trump win this election, Bitcoin will stand a chance to make some moves but with the way Democrat were manipulating election in the last general election that made Trumo lose, hopefully that drama doesn't occur again but the fact that they are the one in powers makes me fear how far they can go to win this election if Biden can be force to withdraw from the race this juncture.

Trump represents huge changes to the American economy, including deporting 5% of the US workforce when he takes office and starting a War On Abortion, which will be massively disruptive.

Trump represents a danger to the continued success of Bitcoin. Voting for Harris will keep things going the way they have been, which as been great for Bitcoin.

Now that Biden is out of the US presidential race, can BTC get to 100k please??

$100K on market bullish or a surge of an ATH bull run event? Because even on Speculations we are not specific what ATH we may get but the anticipation is that we are hitting a bigger price ahead of the current $73,000 ATH.
Also as speculated that when Trump gains rich political rich names, it also enriches bitcoin and now that Biden has dropped out, by anticipation based on your believe Op, it is craving for marketing increase huh?
So how about if the Democrats produces a highily potential candidate that may silent Trump, is there going to be a fate of anticipating for bitcoin increase any further?
I still a lil individual in this bitcoin space and I only know that bitcoin market price is tied on demands and supplies and not political speculations to an individual like Trump. I hope for the proof of this fact if I must be convinced!

Good news can only be speculated. If Trump wins and carries out his political promises to the cryptocurrency-community then it will be good news. But how often do politicians actually deliver on their promises?

I remain skeptical but I believe in Bitcoin more than in any political promises. So I continue to hodl.

With this news trump has one foot in the white house which would mean almost good news for crypto.. you think Kamala harris stands a chance against trump?

HODL - BTC
For me it's a bit of a surprise... I thought Joe Biden would remain a Trump contender but he dropped out of the US race a few minutes ago.

Is it because he is too old because he is over 80 years old... People always say that Joe Biden has started to forget his memory.

Lastly, are you saying that after Joe Biden drops out bitcoin could reach $100K? It's not going to be straightforward, even if Biden wins the US election I still believe Bitcoin could go to $100K, that politics is full of promises that cannot be fulfilled.

LOL, Republicans will have nothing talk about now since "Hunter Biden" is no longer a topic  Smiley.

Now all that's left to talk about is abortion, and whether:

1. It should remain legal (vote for the Democratic candidate, e.g. Harris).

2. Or it should be illegal nationwide (vote for Trump).

Americans will decide whether they want abortion to be legal in our country in November. Everything else (say Bitcoin for instance) is not going to matter much to voters compared to that super-divisive issue...

A Bitcoiner chooses. A slave obeys.

I'm not surprised. It was only a matter of time considering his waning health.  Let's see what happens next!
