I'm also into it reading some details while trying to understand how vast it could go. So after the NFTs and Metaverse projects that we've come to see the hype from it.
It's web3 that I only know but since you've mentioned big data, I'm also going to learn and study some ideas that's truly interesting these days. Because we know that there's a phasing for the crypto market and it's being passed onto the new underlying technologies and concepts to grow it as a whole.

you can try to review this content : What Is Different Web3.0 and Current Internet?   https://www.coinparative.com/web3-0-news/web-3-0-what-is-it-and-how-will-it-be-different-from-the-current-internet/http://

I think may help you know more about web3.0
Thanks!
I need every single source that I can read so that I'll get to know more about web 3.0. It's true that it's the next big thing and many huge companies are already looking at it.
Before most of them get in, it's much better that we must also know the things that they're trying to figure out with the web 3.0 and it's a plus for big data.

Hey @Milan1009, I had also been thinking about this! Everyone knows about a data breach at some company or another, and these data pools often contain super sensitive info. From the blog post, I read that Weavechain is trying to be an on-ramp for big data to Web3 -- a super important mission in my opinion. I think ownership of data nowadays is a topic taken too lightly, and the onset of Web3 will bring that necessary discussion into the spotlight.

But I'm excited not only about taking ownership of data, but also the collaboration opportunities that this brings. People know about DAOs, and the example coming to mind is how ConstitutionDAO brought together people who otherwise didn't know each other and engaged them in a mission: to buy the Constitution! I'm curious where Weavechain will go in terms of research and new insights. In the blog post, Omar mentions the MOBI consortium, which already provides the structure for a team united with one mission. I think Weavechain, through Web3, will give more value to data and will lead to more efficient ways of processing and digesting that data, as well as richer insights in general.

Will definitely follow Weavechain, it seems cool -- and it has a practical use, which not everyone can say. I'm thinking of companies like Ardrive.io which advertise: "Your life. Saved forever." To a certain extent, I'm not sure if there will be much demand for personal data storage? I mean, do I really need that picture of what I had for breakfast three years ago? But for things like big data at companies, whether its Coca-Cola's data harvesting to better their ad campaign and identify new consumers, or whether its Toyota using big data to adjust its autonomous driving functions or to think about insurance policies, I think all will benefit from using the security, and the immutability, of blockchain.

Our information on the current websites is not as safe as we thought in the past, that is why I think this crypto branch is doing an amazing job at contributing to the evolution the internet needed. Web3 and big data will bring us a new access models, explicitly permissioned, data wouldn’t move outside of those permissioned paths, and security standards would be maintained amongst users. I could extend this post a lot, but, I thought it would be better to give you this useful piece of information recently posted from Weavechain:
