I also think this means very little.. overall.
Canada for example already set out Taxation guidelines.. years ago.
The EU is waaaay late.

Must be something unbelievable that they don't mind such news at all.
I do feel like I'm fed up with the newsfeed telling bitcoin has once again used for a crime to succeed and that is why I don't mind the news these days. but really yours is good. Perhaps a little too good which is something unbelievable that user probably think its not true.

Yes! Bitcoin is moving forward! being officially a currency, Bitcoin users have the power to share about it and convince others that this is not "monopoly money", but real money.
Might be that altcoins follow the same path, but it doesn't matter that much. Since you can exchange alts to Bitcoin, there is a "door" for altcoins also.

This should make adoption a lot more easier and should give a boost to the userbase. One of the necessary steps BTC needed to succeed.
Im sure they will try to get some regulation in place or something along those lines also but who knows.
