CS120: Bitcoin for Developers I | Saylor Academy | How does Bitcoin work? Why is Bitcoin called a "cryptocurrency"? What cryptography does it use? How is security maintained in a system with no central authority? This course will answer these and many more questions. In this course, you will learn the building blocks that make up the open, decentralized system that is Bitcoin. We'll start by diving into the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin and walk through how these tools are used to keep the system secure and running. This course is designed for students with a technical background, including some coding experience. Many of the examples and exercises will require some familiarity with coding to follow along.
When you finish this course, you'll be able to differentiate between public and private keys and understand how they are used in Bitcoin transactions, calculate the hash of a piece of data and explain why hashing is used in Bitcoin's Proof-of-Work consensus protocol, list the functions of a wallet, describe the utility of nodes on the network, and more. You'll have the foundations necessary for understanding, working with, and building on Bitcoin and other open cryptocurrency systems.

I believe you are missing an important one, https://cryptoconsortium.org/Andreas Antonopolous is on the team members ( https://cryptoconsortium.org/team/) which makes this very interesting. Cryptoconsortium also offers certification for blockchain professionals. I was certified once, but it only lasts for 2 years. You have to study and make an exam. If you do pass the test, you get the certification Certified Bitcoin Professional (CBP) is the main one.

Probably consider the free courses on Saylor’s website (something something Saylor academy or whatever) as well. Haven’t taken them personally but I’ve heard good things about it.
Couldn’t link it as I’m on mobile so dyor.

Interesting collection. Is this something you plan to update in the future by adding new courses or removing those that are no longer available or accepting new participants?
Yes, I do. I think the "About the Course" columns of the table could have been wider. They seem to make the OP unnecessarily long the way they are structured right now. You also have a fourth column in the table that remains completely empty of any content. Selecting a different table layout would make it more visually attractive. I'm sorry. I'm really new to this. Thank you for the pointer. I just figured it out.

In this guide, I've tried to put together some of the most recommended Bitcoin and blockchain online courses. This library was compiled based on the recommendations of news and educational resources dedicated to cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. All courses are presented with links to EdX, Coursera and FutureLearn. I am aware that there are lots of online platforms but I picked the aforementioned three platforms because 1)of the quality of the course contents. They are offered by top universities all over the world. 2) they contain courses on Bitcoin and blockchain. The links at the time of the creation of the guide are working and do not contain referral codes. The courses are free but you will have to pay to receive a degree. If you cannot not afford the fee, you can apply for financial aid. Here's is a financial aid template that I always use that works for me I have provided a short description about each courses which are taken from EdX, Coursera, and FutureLearn. At the time of this writing, all courses are available. I did not include Udemy because anybody can create his own course. Which means quality of courses vary a lot. Another reason is that you won’t get a degree. If you find a error, please let me know about it. Also in this guide, you can add your favorite Bitcoin and blockchain courses that you think are worth taking. Thanks.
