Please post the address.
If it has more than 1000 utxos, you'll have to consolidate them first, before Electrum sends you the rest of your balance.

The transactions are indeed confirmed. According to block explorer there are (lets say) 20BTC as a final balance. However when i am sweeping on electrum its saying the sweep amount is 10BTC.

So what do you mean by unconfirmed? The last transaction on the wallet is possibly from months ago.

You'll know if a transaction is unconfirmed if you lookup the address on block explorers. It'll simply say unconfirmed transaction or something similar (look at this, for example. It says "Unconfirmed Transaction! in red.).

If all of your transactions are already confirmed and importing makes your wallet hangs and you're already using the latest version I can only guess that electrum is unable to understand some of the transactions. We can't really help you in this case unless you can give us the address (either by PM or post here) so we can look at the transactions.

So how do i get the transactions confirmed? The private key is from my armory which is offline.
What would be the best way to release ALL the coins from this privatekey?

Edit:  Im trying to import using the method you described. The whole electrum client just hangs in "Please wait" on the install wizard after i put in the privatekey.
You have to wait for the transactions to confirm. It has nothing to do with your wallet.

Ok i will try that route.

But im confused as to why electrum would show a less "sweep amount" then the total amount that is shown on the blockchain.
I have spent before on from this address im sweeping, but thats all been deducted from the balances as shown on blockchain.

It could be that the address have some unconfirmed transactions. I tried it just now and the bitcoins from unconfirmed transaction doesn't get included.

Electrum does not allow import.
I can only see an option for "sweep".

And the balance they are showing to be sweep from the private key is less than half the coins its shown to be holding on blockexplorer.
For various security reasons, i cannot show the address as of now.

You can import by choosing "Standard Wallet" and "Use public or private keys" options when you're creating a new wallet.

Can you post the address?
Importing the address to a new wallet and transferring all coins to your main wallet could work.

Hello All,

I'm currently trying to sweep X amount of bitcoins from Armory to Electrum.

However electrum is showing far less bitcoins then expected. When i check on block explorer, its clear there are way more bitcoins on the address thats being sweeped.

For an example the address has 20BTC but Electrum is saying the sweep transaction = 10 BTC

What is happening? I havent broadcasted the transaction until i can get some clarity here.
