thanks for alll the input guys.
seems like it wasn't a blatantly bad deal, which certainly helps my buyers remorse.  Smiley

meh. which month are they?

they are november batches.

less meh. the good things are you paid in fiat and you proved there is an honest seller on craigslist

diff doubles in a month so hardware halves, but thats just in theory, 1340 Gh/s will still seem a lot to ebayers etc

there are lots of calculators out there

Good luck with it all. I was mining with a BFL 50/60 Ghs for a wee while. I think if you use http://www.bitcoinx.com/profit/ you will tell with you should be getting and an idea of outlay etc..  Thee has been large difficulty increases recently driving costs of these machines down so it's a calculation game.

On the plus side, mining is great, miners are totally required so you are doing a good thing. All the calculators base forward thinking of profit on current prices, you really need to look forward I think, so what seems bad now may be better later.  Be careful off large swings in difficulty though as it can kick into your resell costs.

I would not like to ponder a guess at the price in a month, but if you take difficulty increases into account you can see your rig mining at 30-50% in that time. It's not entirely linked to cost but a good indication.

In any case, best of luck and happy mining!!

Kind of high. You could have purchased 7 ant miners for 18.55 BTC. They would give you 1260 GHs total hash rate. Throw in about 4 1200 Watt power supplies for another BTC and your cost would be 19.55 BTC. ($16000 USD).

i just scored a pair of knc jupiters and i paid $22,500 (via CL).

I have been waiting to jump into the game and this is absolute lowest I could haggle this guy down for them.  I am pretty stoked.  they are up and running pretty smooth as butter on eligius.

Few questions:
Seems like these go for between 11.5-12.5BTC on here & elsewhere.  How much do you think they would be worth one month from now?
would you have paid that much?  im having a little bit of buyers remorse, but they have already snagged me 0.4BTC so i'm not feeling that bad.  Cheesy
