It's a bit disappointing, because a rapist/fraudster/and most importantly sell-out of US secrets should not have been able to run for president in the first place.

Civily liable rapist, according to the judge in New York city, though. Not criminally liable, otherwise he would be in prison right now (assuming he would not slip away from those problems again because he is rich and is a expresident.

I am not an American citizen and I have never been in the United States, but I don't need to be there to know Donald Trump will be a stain in the history of the country if he becomes president again, it would be the first time a convicted felon is elected adls president and the first time someone who is awaiting for sentence is inaugurated as the president of the country.
What is the legal system of the country supposed to do if he gets a sentence? is he going to governt from a prison cell? It is just unprecedented scenario after unprecedented scenario.
He will obviously claim, the president of the country can not be imprisoned and needs to walk free.

I don't think this topic should be in Bitcoin discussion. It could probably be in the economic board or politics and society.
It is a purely political discussion from my stand point,  and nothing related to bitcoin has been mentioned.

The discussion is more appropriate on "Politics and Society" board.

we cant conclude yet if many of these tech organizations were really in support for Trump or not, but by then, we shall all see what is beyond the ordinary visual transpiring between the two political aspirants over the presidential contest, don't be surprised that Biden may also have his own support from the crypto space which were in line with his motives and agenda to support him win the election, but as for these tech organizations, i think they could decide on their own without the support of any government or presidential candidate since bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency.

Trump would only win over Biden because of how horrible the Biden administration has been, not because Trump is a perfect fit for president. If the democratic party can have the balls to make Biden step down from running for a second term they might stand a chance.
Biden is too old. He's 81 years old now, a person like that shouldn't be the president of America, but aside from his age, his policies and administration are not favourable. Trump may be better than Biden, but he too is not a proper option. He's old too and would be 82 before his tenure runs out if he's elected.
A lot of the top tech company owners and CEO are endorsing Trump and if the elections are to be conducted today, Trump would win.

I don't think Biden will be able to win against Trump.

Time is running out for him, and I think he will drop out eventually if it means that the new candidate can defeat Trump.
Trump by my standard is a more sound mind than Biden could be and this isn’t about the fact that, his supporting cryptocurrency or anything, it’s just who he is as a person when I try to compare them both. It’s no surprise at this time his getting a lot of support being a very convincing figure and one that you can hope to come by some changes and his really defiant. He’s all that is been talked about now and it seems there isn’t much hope for Biden but, perhaps Biden has still got a hidden card, who knows.
I guess Americans knows what’s best for them.

trump is not the best candidate and so is biden. the country has no good options and even if biden were to win i don’t think usa would be in any better. it is both disappointing and alarming to see such a powerful country be led by incompetent leaders but here we are.

it is no doubt that the win will go to trump in this year’s election.
Sadly, Americans have to choose between two bad options. Joe Biden for now has no plan to drop in the race even when it is obvious that he is losing the support of both major sponsors and key party leaders. He wouldn't win Trump based on current ratings. Trump is not a good option for Americans, especially minorities. He is a well-known racist and has a history of criminal activities that have not been taken to court. An individual who bribes people to cover his sins, shouldn't be elected as president. The best option is for Biden to drop his presidential race and pass the baton to another competent Democrat. He should make his decision fast because time is running out.

We see all these businesses backing Trump again like in 2016, because those are the entities who have benefited from his policies in his previous term.

Biden won't be able to win against Trump and the recent shooting accident was the last nail in that coffin for Biden. He forgets everything, miscalls people, shakes hands with the shadows, walks in an imaginary line, can't stand on his feet and etc...
Yes, it's very disappointing that there wasn't another candidate or a person with power and influence capable of running for the Presidential election besides Trump and Biden. Now the US has to choose between worse and worse.

I like Trump because I dislike the LGBT and abortion legalization concept. America's moral compass goes down whenever Democrats are in power. Moreover, it takes just smartness and guile to be a political leader, not good behavior. All those US presidents are actually bad guys but smart, except George W Bush, who didn't sound too smart, but was propelled by his dad's legacy and influence.

Unless something dramatic happens, Trump is coasting to victory backed by the big money and big crypto.

Marc Andreessen, the co-founder of one of the most prominent venture capital firms in Silicon Valley, says he’s been a Democrat most of his life. He says he has endorsed and voted for Bill Clinton, Al Gore, John Kerry, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.

However, he says he’s no longer loyal to the Democratic Party. In the 2024 presidential race, he is supporting and voting for former President Donald Trump. The reason he is choosing Trump over President Joe Biden boils down primarily to one major issue — he believes Trump’s policies are much more favorable for tech, specifically for the startup ecosystem.
