I was checking out volume and didn't do that much accurate math.

However if you look at the volume charts from August 2011 to October 2011, median volume was around 60k (on mtgox of course).

October 2011 through Jan 2012 was about 100k

Jan & Feb 2012 have been about 140k.

I agree that bots can artificially inflate this number, but it's still nice to see.

It'd be even nicer if it was spread amongst a few exchanges...

We'll get there!

myself, sell moar with me.  We need to drop the price below $5.00 and never let it go above $6.00.

You don't want a stable price?
Dude, this is the speculation section. Stable prices are horrible.

Proudhon, what the hell more do you expect than 45k and 15k dumps? Have fun on the loser side with "myself" who is probably short. Tongue

I told you bro. Last confirmation of this consolidation’s break UP will be break of 6.2.

A stable price would definitely be a welcomed change by us merchants.
We can talk about that once Bitcoin has a market cap in the billions.

Until then, NO.

People need to be doing more to drive price down so I can buy more bitcoins. I'm looking at you "myself". Step up your game! I'm buying more BTC this week and I want a good deal!

Use more better scare tactics. kthxbye

Can you provide some evidence that it was one guy? It didn't look like one guy pushing the price back up to me. Actually, the dump looked more like one guy than the climb back.

No strong evidence, it's only my private opinion based on mtgoxlive observation. BIDS were changing in a very organised manner, that i simply don't believe in such a coincidence.

Cheers people, we have some very strong stability! A strong market.

This so-called stability is due to only one gamer. Price was just about to dive deeply, but than somebody showed the money and pump value to its previous level.

So it looks like yesterday we had someone dump a load of coins and loads of other people snapping them up.

The only volume we had greater than this was the mid Nov crash, and the market isn't phased.

Cheers people, we have some very strong stability! A strong market.

Does it tells us that we have a diffuse number of people are supporting a base value of some kind?
