Most sites that have covered this aspect of bin Laden's life don't go into any further detail about why someone like him would have a porn stash in the first place. He considered himself to be an enemy of the Western world, its policies, and its values. Pornography is both a product of Western culture (whether we like it or not) as well as an example of un-Islamic values. For someone like bin Laden who wanted to establish Sharia law across the entire Arab world (which prescribes female modesty, enforces separation of the sexes, and considers fornication and adultery as crimes against Allah), it would be really out of character.
For instance, it would be understandable for someone who despises Judaism and Jews to own copies of the Torah and Jewish scriptures in order to understand what exactly it is that they oppose. A Creationist might own a copy of The Origin of Species for the same reasons. From reading the article below, I'm fairly certain that Richard Dawkins has a few bibles and other religious books laying around his house as well:
