Yes, you are right, we do not have to hurry to draw conclusions until the problem is completely unexplored. We just need to wait a bit and we will learn the reason for the loss of money.
If there is an update about them and one of you saw it, feel free to post it here.

I heard that there are some transactions to withdraw thousands bitcoin from the binance and it's a little bit strange to hear about that. if the hackers can sell their syscoin and is there a possibility for them to withdraw their thousands bitcoin from the exchange site without doing KYC verification? Remember if you ahve verified with KYC and you will get up to 100 BTC limit for everyday.
Seriously 1,000+ btc to withdraw?

They can track that account if those withdrawals benefited from profiting to SYS coin pump.

Ooh my God, why are there stupid people ?
why did he exchange 96 coin kings for just this insignificant coin, after this he would hang himself in his bedroom, because of the stupid act he has done
It can be a bug, a hack or things that we don't know.

There's no reason and no statement yet from binance and SYS dev team so we have to wait until someone figures it out.

Anyone knows if that 96 BTC has been withdrawn?

My take on this is that this was an organized hack. First, some SYS coins were mined, and due to low hashrates, they mined a lot of this before hand.
Exploited the API of Binance to make trades of unsuspecting victims to get some BTC available for trade.
The hackers pumped the price of SYS to a point that they will get more profit, in this case 1 SYS = 96 BTC.
They used the hacked accounts to do this and when it was at this new all time high, they then sold the SYS they are holding to the same hacked accounts using their BTC which resulted to the hacker getting the price that they want.

I think this was done by the same person in order to create a PR for this coin and raise its rate. Believe me, he can not allow such a mistake simply, do not be naive.
This is what I'm thinking so someone uses his 96 bitcoin just to pump that coin or later we'll see someone posting here in forum or reddit and admit that he's the one who lost his life savings with a single SYS.

There is an API problem and it was affecting SYS coin trade. you can see all of the news here
https://stocksgazette.com/2018/07/03/binance-potentially-hacked-for-45-million-announces-unplanned-maintenance/
it looks like the hackers are using the vulnerabilties form the syscoin API. I guess syscoin is really bad.
All withdrawals and deposits now are disabled on binance.

It may trigger a API security alert for binance. Binance has suspended transactions and raised cash. At the same time, a new API update is opened. We need to wait for further market feedback.
