I have learned my lessons for sure, am starting the process, luckily only had 100 in there, but I am wondering can I open up another account on binance as I wait for it to get reset as I don't want to wait a month to trade, thanks for responding

I'm not really sure about this so if you want to get a clear answer on this, Send a support ticket  Wink

So anyways, I saw a user on reddit where he asked binance if it's okay to create another account for one of his family member since they will be using the same IP.

Binance then replied with a "No Problem" and denotes "multiple accounts". Quoting it below:

No there should be no problems opening multiple accounts.

With kinds regards. With kind regards, The Binance support team.

So you should be fine as long as you will use a different email address and with a non-verified account.

Always make proper backup of your google 2fa recovery code specially when you have funds inside it.

Writing it down in paper and storing in safe place is ultimate solution which I use. Smartphones can get damaged without warning so you should only use a seperate phone as 2fa device.

Binance support might be busy these days so you might have to wait more than a month to get your problem solved.

Did you ever get this resolved, I am in the same situation and getting ready to start the process, seeing allt eh comments does not make me happy

Well you don't really have a choice do you?

Unless you have backed-up your secret/recovery codes of your 2fa (assuming you're also using google auth), The only way to gain an access to your account again is to submit a number of stated documents they ask. Now if you don't do that, consider your coins donated. You should start as soon as possible since it'll be on first come, first serve basis.

Hello, I know that binance is not accepting new registrations at the moment.
Luckily, I registered a couple weeks ago, but meanwhile I forgot my Google 2FA.
I submitet the ticket with my documents, and a selfie holding my passport, but after 4 days still no response.

I have a lot of patience, but this is costing me money and I am a little bit angry at the moment  Cry

Does anyone have similar problem, and when can I hope that binance will reset my google 2FA ?

Thanks everyone for help.

Regards,
