What do we look in coins?
Definitely, we should look for the demand or future demand of the coin. Aside from that if the coin is new, we should check the following"
Developer - we must know the capability of the developer and how true is their declared background.
Marketing Team - this is very important if we wanted our investment not to sleep too long. Many projects nowadays just hire someone without even verifying their skill. Many even give them false background just to beef
up the so-called reputation of that said team.
Roadmap - is it realistic and attainable? Many projects just utter complete nonsense and promise a huge return after some time. we should also check if it is one of a kind and just a copy of the previously successful project.
Token allocations - Too much airdrop can ruin our investment, and too much reserve for the Team can also manipulate the future market or even crash it when the team decided to dump. It makes no sense when a
project allocates a separate portion for the team and the project development. They already have their money during the private selling, pre-selling, and initial public offering (ICO, ITO, IDO whatever you called it)
and even post public offering. It is just a complete non-sense for a developer to get more token allocation when they already have the money from those pre-sellings of the token, it just looks like a money grab
even before the project come to a realization.
Market - We should also check the target market of the said token. The greater the target market audience is the more possible the project being successful.
Don't just jump into the wagon because someone said it is hot or good. Always dyor and check for red flags and critical points.
What does determine their price movement?
It is always the supply and demand, and the speculation of the investors that determine their price movement. You can see two things here. Price move because it is greatly hyped or because it is very promising (in short it has a great potential). We should be able to differentiate the two. If we failed to, we might end up bag holding useless token.
