Flash crashes have happened before, not only just on Binance but on Bitmex and coinbase too. Probably someone executed a very huge sell order and did not care about whatever price the sale was going to be executed.

The best way to see this through looking at the sell orders at the moment in time. Also, As far as i know, stop losses are only triggered when the market price reaches that particular stop loss price. I doubt if they get triggered by just flash crash of just seconds.

Binance matching server is not performant as it was claimed or bug occured ?

Who can explain this move ? it was happened only on binance ... In the same 5 seconds there was a sell at 8470 and another at 9371 ? Stop Loss system not executed in time ?

Maybe it was a lack of liquidity at that price level, or someone trying to hunt stops loss.

In any case, I have understood when such movements occur in such short periods, the intelligent price does not take that movement into account and waits a prudential time to update and avoid unfair liquidations.

Looks like the volume is really weak. Somebody might put a wrong order and execute it.

Can't confirm anything unless you have their logs.
