Maybe post on reddit and twitter and hope that someone from Binance answers how legit are these emails. It'd be interesting to know whether OP, for example, stole from someone, or whether he is a a victim of collateral damage due to the unreliability of BTC transaction analyses.

There is probably more into this... it just can't happen out of the blue.
This is a weird case.
Op mentioned that he is not a US citizen and the email from binance confirm that a specific amount has been deducted op balance and sent to Fbi wallet, but based on what? I thought this should be made based on a court judgement based on real evidences. As binance refuses to explain how they were convinced to do this, the case is mysterious. Does binance stated in its TOS that the platform can partially move users funds without a valid explication?
In case op stole the altcoins he sold in btc and the fbi tracked him, why didn't ask government of op country to arrest him? I still can't find the reason on how binance can do this without a clear explanation and just shows the fbi email, did fbi told them to not explain why they decided to do this?

Im making exchanges, its a bitcoin and doesnt have serial number like money. Its bitcoin; It cant be fake like money. If Im paying you alt currencies and taking btc, how can I understand your funds is coming from illegal act?

Only the account owner has accept to manage funds.  I dont trust to binance anymore. If I was using cold wallet no one can take control of my money. This is the issue with binance.

If you have money in your bank, law informents can block the funds. Its ok. But they didnt block my funds. They take my funds and made my balance 0.

It been 20 days and there is no reply from officers. I dont believe to FBI did it.

I have no idea why but I can't open your links (using DuckDuckGo browser). Can you upload the screenshots on Imgur?
Quoting for you the images

I'm not a lawyer, but my common sense doesn't completely agree with these statements.

If you compare this situation with a fiat analog, it would be more or less an innocent person that received money in an honest way, but said money seemed to be stolen a couple months prior. The innocent person brought this money to the bank, the bank accepted the fiat money, but afterwards changed their database so the funds were credited to law enforcement instead of the honest person.

I do not agree that the money was no longer property of the honest person when he gave it to the bank... He was no longer IN CONTROL of his money, but it was still his money.
Neither do I think it to be fair if the FBI would seize the money... Sure, they can ask the bank to FREEZE the account during investigation, but as soon as they found out the person received the money in an honest way, they should unfreeze his account asap.

This whole thing reeks....
Either the op is trolling, he received the money in an unethical way, he"s getting scammed, or law enforcement is acting in an unethical way ( I've heard similar horror stories about American law enforcement tough...)

I get what you mean and in the ideal situation, you're completely right. The money should still be OP's property and Binance or the FBI should not have any right to seize and/or transfer his money to another wallet without the owner's consent. But that's the ideal case and reality is far from it.

Knowing how authorities usually react when they hear you're using cryptocurrencies, I'm not surprised even a bit if FBI had seized OP's money and OP doesn't even have any idea what happened to it. It should've been the FBI contacting him if the money came from a potentially illicit source, you don't just take money out of my pocket and then ask me to contact the cops to ask what's going on. Right? But this isn't about a bank account, it's about a cryptocurrency address they cannot freeze.

As I said, contacting FBI through the emails Binance has provided is the best thing OP can do if this is all legit. If the money OP had deposited did not come from illicit sources, he will probably be able to receive a compensation for being wrongly accused AND having his money seized.

@OP, for a better understanding on our side, can you give a little more information on the source of the funds (ofc only as long as it doesn't compromize your security / identity etc)? Like, if you bought those BTC on an OTC platform from somebody in person, this could be a hint that someone unloaded funds from illegal activity on you. They got the cash and you got the problems.

From what I've read, this seems to be a pretty common thing.

Other than that, I'd also suggest you wait for the officers to reply. Bear with them, people working in federal agencies often aren't that up to date with technology and rarely check their mail accounts. It might take a while. ^^

You can be blamed for the source your Bitcoins came from. The thing is, you've sent your BTC to a third party's wallet. It was basically not yours anymore, they had the right to seize the funds.

I support suchmoon's idea too that your funds might've came from an illicit source FBI had on track for a while. They way they have replied is very weird though.

If you're sure you've spoken with the real Binance support, then I guess the best thing you can do is contact one of the given addresses and see what their answer will be. I've looked up both e-mail addresses but they result in absolutely nothing on the web. It might be a very serious case they're working on.

Yes Im sure they are real binance support.

Its bitcoin, cant reserved, cant charged back or no one can blame for anything. What should I do now ? Binance never replies to my tickets. FBI never replies to my ticket?

I lost that money. They take 1.49 btc from money account and left 0.02 btc. Its funny... I was trading on there. If I was in illegal activity I could use cold wallet...

I dont believe FBI did that. I dont live in USA, why FBI wants to take control of my money ?

Possibly your money comes from some illegal activity (not saying that you did something illegal, just that they tracked something and it ended up in your wallet).

This is one of the most bizarre things I've seen yet in this whole centralized exchange fiasco. Are you sure you're communicating with the real Binance support?

Hello everyone,

I have created binance account 3 Months ago. I verified my account and I sold my all altcoins then depositted (1.49BTC) into my account. After 3 Week they locked my account to withdrawal.

I tried to contact with live chat support. They didnt make any explain. They told me wait till your ticket get answers. After 2 Month now they are saying we give the control of your money to FBI.

I didnt make any illegal activity. They never explain me purpose of why doing that. I tried to contact with FBI, they didnt replied to my emails. I dont believe FBI did that. I dont live in USA, why FBI wants to take control of my money ?

I have attached the emails that I received from Binance..

Be aware! Dont trust to Binance!
