This is not a new news and not all the address expired. Click on wallets then you will see buy and deposit, click on deposit, you will see trending, then click on BTC, and you will see choose network and click on BTC again and you will see the bitcoin address and that address that you will see permanent, it doesn't change. You can use it to receive bitcoin anytime of your choice. And that is what I am also using for my trading business.
It is a new news, not the old one and Binance has indicated that they will notify their customers that their addresses would be changed. Address can be permanent on exchanges but there are times that exchanges can decide to start giving another addresses to their customers. So which can make it not permanent.

Wetin dey do binance wey dey just dey change wallet anyhow, thanks for dis information, seriously dis information wey u post here dey very important to some people wey dey dis local board. Some of us wey dey signature and na exchange we dey use receive money, make e no come be like say binance go don change wallet address and na d old wallet manager go pay too, so now make everybody dey monitor him gmail incase if dem send any inform say dem don change wallet address, Abeg make we post am for here so that we go fit message our manager make dem change the wallet to the new one. Once again thanks @OP.
Use your noncustodial wallet address instead of an exchange bitcoin address for signature campaigns. This may help you when you want to sign message with bitcoin address. But also good to stake your bitcoin address.

If anyone is affected, the money will not just be credited automatically, but if you go to deposit history, you will be able to credit the coin manually without the help of customers care. With that, you will know that your address has been changed because Binance will also make it clear that your addresses has been changed.

Before the address would be changed, Binance will also send email.

Binance can change any of the address at anytime they want. People should be aware of that.

I think this is even the second time in space of 12 months that I have heard of bitcoin changing address. Although when I found out that my btc addresses were still the same and I enquired I was let to know it was only for Alticoins. So now seeing this, is a bit confusing but maybe the address changed in first quarter or last quarter of 2022 was for ethereum and the likes of bnb.

The only advice at this period is just to check directly from the app so as not to send funds to old wallets. And also one shouldn’t sleep on the advice that has been given multiple times here, which is to treat all exchanges as a market place

Thanks for the information, I was never aware of that even though I use Binance exchange sometimes for my p2p transactions. It is good users won’t lose their funds when it’s still deposited in the old address, if not it might cause mayhem between them and their users.

2)Deposit on an old wallet address will not lead to loss of funds, but it wouldn't be automatically updated. To avoid contacting support for help, it's better to take caution about using the new wallet address that will be available from July to September.
The deposit will not be automatically credited or update, but you can do that manually yourself.

Funds deposited into expired addresses are safe and will not be lost. Users can manually credit the deposits via the "Transaction History" page. Do note that deposits made into expired deposit addresses would not be automatically credited.

But better to always copy the address on Binance directly and send it to anyone that wants to transfer coin or token to your Binance account, or to use it to send coin to your Binance account.

People should always know that the addresses on Binance are not theirs because they did not generate the addresses themselves, it is Binance that has the keys, Binance is in control of the addresses and have the full control over the coins. Binance can change any of the address at anytime they want. People should be aware of that.

Binance one of the largest centralized exchanges by users announced on Thursday last week that it is going to retired some deposit addresses and memos of users in batches and email notifications will be sent to users as a reminder of when it will happen.

This is to inform users that make use of Binance to check their wallet address before they make deposits especially those that register on the exchange with mobile numbers and others that don't frequently check their email addresses to be at alert.

Note:
1)You can continue to deposit through that wallet address until you received a notification about the wallet change of address and memo. This doesn't affect the user's balance in their wallet.

2)Deposit on an old wallet address will not lead to loss of funds, but it wouldn't be automatically updated. To avoid contacting support for help, it's better to take caution about using the new wallet address that will be available from July to September.

The wallet addresses and addresses with memos that will retire include BTC, BCH, SEGWITBTC, XRP, SOL, XMR, LTC, ADA, DOGE, DOT, XMR, FIL, ALGO, NEAR, WAVES, AVAX, HBAR, RUNE, EGLD, FLOW, ICP, EOS, KAVA, DASH, ELF, IOST, IOTA, STX, WAX, CKB, ICX, ASTR, SCRT, INJ, BAND, STEEM, HIVE, XEM, FET, BTS.

So, keep refreshing your email addresses.
