They haven't given a reason so far, but they say they pretend to make it available for all the US.

I doubt they will. If we look at NY's Bitlicense, it can take crypto businesses years to actually obtain it, and that's just time time aspect of it. It also involves a lot of cost that very likely will scare off a lot of businesses because there doesn't seem to be enough user demand to justify that sort of an allocation of time and money.

Bitstamp was granted a Bitlicense this year after having applied for it in 2015! https://www.coindesk.com/bitstamp-granted-bitlicense-will-expand-crypto-services-in-us

Binance with all the garbage it has listed will face serious difficulties to be granted such a license, or they have to please the NYSDFS by excluding the more exotic stuff they have listed and only allow NY residents to trade Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, etc.

Hahaha damn, did they just start pulling those names out of a hat?

Binance has really strengthened my ability to avoid unnecessary obstacles and distractions in the crypto-sphere.  They create sooo much drama with everything they do now. It is like Binance likes to suck it's clients in to their drama.

It is like, if Binance isn't happy....Nobody is happy!!  Haha.  Well, I am glad that I do not have an account balance with Binance anymore!  Glad I am trading and making money elsewhere instead of fretting over non-stop Binance drama!

Some interesting definitions to consider:

bam
interj.   Used to indicate the sound of a blow or a collision.
interj.   Used to indicate a sudden or unexpected occurrence.
n.   A cheat; a hoax; an imposition.

phantom
n.   Something apparently seen, heard, or sensed, but having no physical reality; a ghost or apparition.
n.   An image that appears only in the mind; an illusion.

What states do they not allow?   I live in New York. My drivers license and mailing address is still in Arizona.   I will not trust Binance again and I will not sign up for an account with "bam" either.

I think Binance is seriously messing with you all.

And OP, even if you were able to open an account for US customers, there would be no way in hell you could link a bank account without having to provide KYC documents.  I'm pretty sure any legitimate exchange (keyword legitimate) would be required to get your dox from you before allowing you to deal with fiat currency--at least in the US.

I am not trying to avoid KYC. I do not want to do KYC if I am not going to be accepted because I am not a US Person or resident or whatever reason. I want to do KYC if I can be verified. As I said, maybe I wasn't very clear? Sorry, english is not my first language.
However I would not like to send all my documents, make KYC and etc and be rejected (it happened before).

In coinbase I was able to link my bank account, verify the ACH, sent my documents to KYC, and then they reject my account before my first deposit because I wasn't a resident.... I would not like to send my documents again and have the same results. This is why I asked here first.

I would like to be able to do an ACH to some good exchange in US.

Jeez, my state is on the no-go list for Binance customers--that totally sucks, and I'm not sure why that is.  There aren't any anti-crypto laws in my state that I know of.

My interpretation of their terms is that you are not eligible for an account, unless you are a US citizen:
Quote
1. BAM SERVICES
1.1. Eligibility.
(b) unless otherwise agreed in writing, you are a U.S. Person but not be a resident of one of the Restricted States.

US person means citizen or resident.

You might open a support ticket and confirm, but that seems pretty clear to me.

Thank you. This is what I was looking for, but couldn't find.

I agree, it is not even worth opening a ticket.

The supported state you are referring to is not on the list, right? Just in case you misread it or something, the listed states in the link are those that are NOT supported states upon launch.

Yes, but I can't use anyway because I am not a US person....

Agree to this. Remember that you will provide your Residential address during verification, if you aren't from the US it won't do because you won't be able to select a different country.

I not a resident in the United States, but I have a bank account in a support state (https://support.binance.us/hc/en-us/articles/360033405572-What-are-the-supported-States-Jurisdictions)

My question in. Will Binance.US verify my account? I would like to be able to deposit/withdrawal via ACH (which they support) without being a resident.

However I would not like to send all my documents, make KYC and etc and be rejected (it happened before).

Have anyone verified an account there or found any useful information regarding this on their website?
