Was hoping for a regular motherboard that would mine while you gamed, talk about a misleading title..

Thats even dumber....  Roll Eyes
What else would you expect from a title saying ASICs built into a mobo?

I agree, I was expecting a motherboard with a Coincraft or something built in.

To be fair, Biostar isn't exactly a big mobo manufacturer.  I think the last Biostar board I used had a socket for a 387SX...

Bigger than BFL i say.... lol... And that shitty company managed to have more than $50 Millions in revenue in 2013 alone.

My friend had those boards for the better part of 5 to 6 month now, those are nothing new.  I guess it is just something they toss out of the door after they used up all its mining value

64Gh?

Did I miss something.....

24 GH/s, but who's counting.   Tongue

2013 called, they want their miner back!

24 GHs....... yeah right..

Another noob trap.

If enough motherboards are sold we could see a resurgence of BTC mining botnets.

Why are these motherboard manufactures are so dumb?

Desktop PC is dying and bitcoin mining eco system can be a gateway for them.

Sure they can still keep their mobo products line but only scaled down. Time to make mobile products and MINING Hardware.

With their expertise and available production facility, they can pump out mining cards like no tmr.

Heck their engineer team can even make their own ASICs. Infact they already did with some of those "overclocking" high end board.

Back in 2012, i was thinking .... give 2 more years and we will see Gigabyte, Asus pumping out mining cards.....

Nope.... these dumb asses wont budge until their business going down the drain.

Look at the AMD card sales for 2013..... go with the market....gee.

It's not exactly a motherboard either, is it?   Roll Eyes  I'm guessing it another board of Avalon2 chips?

Crap article.

Looks like it. Here is some more info

BTC-24GH is not a motherboard but rather a daughterboard designed to operate as a slave from a more traditional PC motherboard. A 20-pin ATX power connector and four-pin 12V connector provide the board with its power, and a pass-through connector allows a low-power central motherboard - or additional BTC-24GH boards, up to a maximum of 50 per host system - to be powered from a shared PSU. A USB connector provides communications with the host motherboard.

That's pretty awful.  6500 Watts for 1.2 TH/s.  Is Bitmaintech the only mining company that gets it?
