-snip-
I'm just talking about in 10-15 years time I don't want to find no wallets are able to decrypt BIP38, I'd be in trouble then.
Thank you.

If you are worrying about it, you can stop it now. That won't happen.

Muhammed I can keep unencrypted keys safe so I should make new paper wallets probably.

Mycelium[1] also allows to swipe a BIP38 wallet.

I think Mycelium iOS doesn't support BIP38?

Would you guys advise me to move my stash from BIP encrypted paper wallets into just standard paper wallets?

If you can secure unencrypted private keys, then you don't need to use BIP38 encryption but it is always good to have additional security.

I feel a little uneasy having to rely on 2 or 3 services especially the way blockchain.info is lately.
Why don't Armory, Multibit etc have the tools to deal with BIP38 encryption? Seems stupid.

Don't use an online wallet to redeem balance if you are going to reuse that address. Why don't you try Bither or Mycelium?

I was just wondering as I have numerous paper wallets with BIP38 encryption - how many other wallets apart from blockchain.info allow you to sweep a BIP38 encrypted wallets funds into their wallet?
Basically I just want to know if anything ever happens to blockchain.info am I fucked because very few other wallets can decrypt the wallet with my passphrase?
I'm not an uber techie so keep it simple please.
