You can also check to see if your generated private keys will import into the client properly. Go generate like 10, test 9, and use the 1 left. If you test offline, you can safely use all of them.

Just downloaded the 2.6.2 version a week ago to a usb for OFFLINE use of it, then I was just about to print off some paper wallets, then I go to the GITHUB site to double check and notice they just released a new verson 2.6.3 ...it says they updated some things but its brand new.. Is it unsafe to use the older version from 2 weeks ago if they just put a new version out OR IS THE NEW VERSION possibly FULL OF BUGS AND GLITCHES where it is unsafe to send your bitcoins to due to a error in the new version that you would never notice until 10 yrs from now when you wanna cash your bitcoins in
