But Forcing some one to write somewhere is not a good idea in my opinion.

Technically, if you force to post in section that you don't know actually then you're literally spamming and turn to shitposting.

Don't you see Bitart are doing you guys a favor but it seems you'd just took it for granted, and you're a bit overreacting.

Sorry but you rarely post in the Bitcoin section, and if you do, you just reply to spam megathreads.
I hope you can improve your posting quality and in the future other members will give you merit.

Posts like the one below are not considered to be constructive and Merit worthy:

Though that might happen in the nearest future if the government go against the use. To some that might just be a fiction because Bitcoin has come to stay and it is growing our economy more faster than our fiat money does.

The posts you have listed to be reviewed are all like the one above, and such posts won't earn you any Merit. I have also checked your post history to see if there is something worth Meriting but all I found was generic replies in spam megathreads and they are not what is being asked for here.

I really appreciate your idea for helping newbies who has good writing skills to get merit
But Forcing some one to write somewhere is not a good idea in my opinion
For me I have zero knowledge of mining but a little bit good at trading that's why I mostly used to write into trading discussion thread also I am reading almost all good posts there to increase my knowledge
But if anyone else force me to focus on mining and write there then off course I will prove myself very poor and fool guy
I just wanted to conclude that please don't force anyone to change their field of writing only for merit, it is not good for newbies as well as forum
Thanks for understanding
Politely:
Noone forces anybody to write to the Bitcoin section, in order to get merit.
This topic is just a possible way to earn some merits for those, who are already writing in the bitcoin section but the meritable posts were not recognized/reviewed yet.
You can find merits outside of the bitcoin section too, so there's no need to struggle here... Do a quick check for those topics were other members review posts outside of the bitcoin section...

You seem to have misunderstood, look up at the url in your computer screen and you'll see it's bitcointalk.org, not altcointalk.org or even shitcointalk.org.

Bitart is doing well in helping people look towards the bitcoin sections of this forum. Maybe you can help some members in there. Read through a few of the Bitcoin boards threads and see if you can learn a thing or two from others (it's how we all started before altcoins infested this site)...

(just a bit of advice I might have been too harsh but it's something to realise)...

Despite of I was really trying to give you a merit because you were the first applicant in this topic, I've found out that you have exactly 5 posts in the Bitcoin section and most of the others are in the Alt section...
Your posts in the Bitcoin section are mainly in spam megathreads, rephrasing things have already been mentioned, so you should try a bit harder to create useful content in connection with bitcoin if you want to receive a merit.

We want (I believe we all do) our forum to have quality interactions in all boards. And I think  rewarding the little quality in those boards in the sea of spam would encourage that.

I agree with the basic philosophy, but merit awarders should focus on boards that they want to promote and improve in my opinion.

3.) You have at least 5 quality posts in Bitcoin section  (posts in Altcoin section, Off topic, Local, etc... doesn't count, because this is a Bitcoin forum)

I understand that this is a bitcoin forum, but the forum also makes those other boards available for people to discuss, and isolating those boards would reduce the quality of post there (as our more knowledgeable users would be discouraged from posting there, since no one sees it) and the spam mega threads would be all that's left.

Wouldn't this be better placed on the beginners' section? I don't think many real newbies come to meta (not talking about the junior demoted to newbie who come to meta to complain here).

Post in Local do not count as it is bitcoin forum is a wrong statement. Due to language barrier you are unable to merit local post should be the right statement.
What made you think that people in Local sections will not be knowing about bitcoin?

Go and find 5 other posts from newbies

I really think this should be, "go and find a post from 5 newbies" - merit will distribute a lot easier that way?

I've got a few sMerits still, and I'd like to help newbies to rank up, so:

1.) If you are still a newbie, and
2.) you have less than 100 posts and
3.) You have at least 5 quality posts in Bitcoin section  (posts in Altcoin section, Off topic, etc... doesn't count, because this is a Bitcoin forum. Also due to language barrier I'm unable to merit local posts)

then please copy the links to your 5 best posts here, inside code tags (button # just above the smileys), like this:
Username:
Link to the profile:
Post link #1
Post link #2
Post link #3
Post link #4
Post link #5

Every newbie has 1 chance to apply for the post review and can get 1 merit based on the quality of the posts,  there's no need to post 2-3 applications here, just select your best 5 posts, and that's all.

How to get 1 additional merit:

You can have 1 more chance to get 1 additional merit, so you can end up with 2 merits in the end, here is how:

Go and find a post from 5 newbies, which you think worths merit (good quality, the same applies as above, less than 100 posts, inside bitcoin section and still newbie).
If you post those 5 other posts here and it turns out that at least 3 of them really worths merit, you'll receive another merit because of your contribution (if you have at least 2 meritable posts, of course).

Hint:
If you have just a few posts above 100, you can delete some of your older posts and you'll be eligible for the review

I'll do the reviews every weekend so you should wait patiently. I'll let all you know if I have already done the review of your posts, so you'll have the information.
There's no need to PM me, becasue PM's from newbies are disabled.

EDIT: Jackg, thanks, modified, that makes sense
EDIT2: Local updated and moved to Beginners
