Their policies are predatory at the very least. When there is a high network txn load it is highly likely that even txn's with fees will be delayed. Perhaps this is their way of deterring sophisticated double spend attacks, but it hurts the average user way more.

They are thieves no different from the rest of the ponzi scammers out there; and mark my words, don't be surprised when they disappear with everyone's bitcoins one day (or they get "hacked").

Predators:  Chase you and eat you

Bitbet.us:  Tells you you will lose your bet if you bet late, eats it when you do.

Difference:  Gazelle has no choice, Humans get to choose if they want to play.

Choose wisely.  That is all.

Ignore the

Lol. Sure, if you've done something once and are unhappy with the results, why not keep right on doing it?

Definitely will work better next time. To the Moon!

I hope you get your money back OP.  Ignore the ridiculous bitbet defenders who defend this draconian and thieving policy just because it's spelled out somewhere on their website. I expect those people have never clicked "I Agree" on a page of terms and conditions without closely reading every single word, except that's not even a fair analogy since the users bitbet is stealing from were never presented with terms and conditions.

A FAQ is for frequently asked questions as I see it, not a must-read for casual users to make sure they won't be stolen from. When users make a payment to place a bet, and then that bet does not count, then they were not given the service they were paying for and should be refunded (perhaps minus some small convenience fee).

Sore loser or legit claim?

Legit claim. Was a winning bet (a Yes) submitted before closing (like 1 hour before, don't know exactly). Was not confirmed at time.
. But I agree with a 1% fee refund. Seems like they will take all the money though.

On a positive note, you were smart enough to send a small amount when you hadn't read the faq.  Well done.

It's abusive . Do you think it's fair to keep all your bet just because it was not a confirmed tx in time?

Let's say a newbie guy bets 100 btc and they took all the money in the same way. Is it admissible? I think they love when we make those 'mistakes'.

And the FAQ clearly says:
What if I bet after the bet has been satisfied, but before it is actually closed?
Your bet will be refunded, minus BitBet's 1% fee.

http://bitbet.us/faq/#152

That's the case of the 10 btc and 0.20 btc bet, but they don't want to refund.

Frankly, it's up to them.  It's a service you decided to use. Your assumptions about how it works are your mistake.

I'm just saying read the fucking manual before you start sending BTC everywhere.

Why do you want a refund if you indeed won the bet Sad

I mean, it was a bet for YES, and YES won, but my bet was cancelled because was not confirmed before ending. And they don't want to refund.

The bet was submitted before betting was closed.
This is the tx:

And this is the bet:

It's only 0.20 btc, but I just want my money back.
