Say goodbye to your 1 BTC and learn your lessons. If you give in to that $100 reactivation fee, then you haven't learned your lessons yet. Do not pay. 1 BTC is enough loss; don't make it bigger.
According to the OP they had spent a significant amount of the 1BTC and lost 0.038BTC to the website. Still a significant amount though and more than enough loss.

OP didn't say he/she spent a significant amount from his/her 1 BTC investment. What he/she said is that he/she invested 1 BTC but the last time he/she got access to the account, only 0.038 BTC is left. And so he/she asked them about it. He/she wouldn't have made a query about this if he/she was the one who spent it. It was gone because it was stolen by these scammers.

Any service that asks you for a large sum of money in order to activate your account is a scam.

Large is relative. But to be safe we can just generalize that any service that asks for Bitcoin, large or small, is a scam.

1BTC is such a huge amount you should have already made a big profit if you just held it until now.

The sad part is they still giving you false hope that they are going to reactivate your account. Like they said above there is no legit website that asks for payment just to reactivate or reopen your account if they ask it's a 100% scam.

The chances of recovering your BTC from them is 0% It is really painful and there's nothing we can do but accept the mistake that you made before.
Next time before you send BTC to any website or to anyone do a deep research first or ask here on the forum before you send.

They are now asking for $100USD (can only be paid in bitcoin) to reactivate your account to get access, I don't know why they won't just let you pay with what is already in your account.
Red flag, any platform that asks payment first to get their balance or anything that has monetary value is obviously a scam. Higher chance that the new owner of that domain is different from the original.
Also accessing the site give me this error below which says it all, while proceeding just show a blank page.

They won't let you pay with what you have in your account because there is actually nothing there, take note that whenever your money is with any custodial service, the money is no longer yours and what you see in your account is just numbers, the money has been spent in fractional reserve scam. However, you should not be charged to reactivate your account in the first place and this is an obvious scam, if you send that $100, they won't take any action and they would find another way to ask you to pay more money and so on.

Any service that asks you for a large sum of money in order to activate your account is a scam. Bitclub Network is a scam, and if you provide your data to them, it will most likely be misused, so it is best to stop using your account or try to log in again.

It is cause they do not have it. They already scammed you out of it and spent that already, and probably also sold your data which you submitted to whoever was interested, so be careful with the log in details you used there which are linked to other platforms.

What they are doing now is a follow up scam.

Bitclub Network is a scam. It was a scam before when it was shut down by the authorities; it is a scam now that they have revived their operations. It couldn't be trusted before; it can't be trusted now.

You should just stay away from it and advise everybody else to do the same, especially your family and friends who could have also gotten into this scam.

Say goodbye to your 1 BTC and learn your lessons. If you give in to that $100 reactivation fee, then you haven't learned your lessons yet. Do not pay. 1 BTC is enough loss; don't make it bigger.

Finally, avoid multi-level marketing schemes or MLMs. 99% of them are Ponzi.

At that time there was so much online saying they were a scam and going through the legal system where they pleaded guilty.

This is more than enough reason to stay away op. I looked at their case and it's a textbook scam so there is no reason to trust them again, see: https://www.justice.gov/usao-nj/bitclub

On another note, I was pondering on the possibility that this could be initiated by a different scam team riding on bitclub's name 🤔

They are now asking for $100USD (can only be paid in bitcoin) to reactivate your account to get access, I don't know why they won't just let you pay with what is already in your account.

Yet another common scam scheme and you have answered yourself.

It's ponzi scam so we can't expect a request of withdrawal of funds/account activation to work the same way as legitimate businesses.. and if law enforcement managed to recover some remaining assets and give back a portion to the victims, it is certain that bitclub aka the scammers would not be personally processing the claims lol.

Hi,
Has anyone here actually reactivated their bitclub network account in 2023/2024? and had any success with accessing their funds?

I became one of the early investors in Bitclub Network 2017, I invested 1 BTC as a founding member and the last I had access to my account there was only 0.038 of a btc in there. I did send a query about this in 2020 and they asked for a payment to complete KYC, which I completed.  At that time there was so much online saying they were a scam and going through the legal system where they pleaded guilty.  I had a look today and they are now operating again so I logged in and my account shows zero.  They are now asking for $100USD (can only be paid in bitcoin) to reactivate your account to get access, I don't know why they won't just let you pay with what is already in your account.  I did query this with their online chat and all they can say is I have to reactivate my account to get access.  I asked them to look at my account they asked for my username and said they could see I had invested the 1 BTC. but still came back with the same response.  Obviously I'm wary that it's another money grab.  Has anyone actually reactivated their account? and had any success with accessing their funds?  I've kept all my documentation and correspondence over the years.  Any info would be appreciated

Thankyou
