AFAIK, in the earlier versions, the reference client started mining using setgenerate and it would always mine to a new address. It doesn't necessary mean satoshi mined Bitcoins to different wallets but it could mean that satoshi mined Bitcoins to many addresses within the same wallet.

Different addresses=/Different wallets.

hi
i wonder how was mining  works on first  client
as i see every block rewarded to different wallet address in 2009
so the client generate  multipe  wallets itself when mining starts?  because i see  each block mined has different address
how they did even backup private keys?

Do you think Satoshi might not have thought of them? I do not think so. We may think that he somehow designed everything and prepared it to bring it to today.
