I don't understand the people in the forum sometimes. First you complain about the high fees and slow confirmation times. Then you demand that the Core developers do something about it. But when the solution to the problem eventually comes, all of you look the other way.  Cry

We are very close to having native Segwit enabled addresses. There would now be no excuse not to implement Segwit as a default.

The generation of 2mb Bitcoin block sizes is coming. That means low fees and more transactions per block. Plus Segwit is also the introduction to the Lightning Network.
