You have no idea how much I'd like to attend the conferences in London or Berlin or Amsterdam. However, an overseas trip is a little more than I can handle financially, especially so soon. I'm hoping to find something big stateside early-mid next year.

Will be livestreaming so don't worry too much!

We are doing monthly "Mini" Bitcoin Conferences in Austin Texas.

August 17, we had

David Johnston of Bit Angles,
Chris Odom of Monetas and Open Transactions,
Steven Wilkinson of Crypto Con Consulting on Bit Pay
Paul Snow (AlanX) on Passing Bitcoin around the World
Nikos Bentenitis on the Bitcoin Foundation's Education Committee

The next Mini Conference is going to be September 21.

This isn't any substitute for any of the big conferences, but if you happen to be in Austin Texas on the 3rd Saturday of the Month, we will try and make it worth your while!

And if anyone is interested in presenting a project, some research, looking for connections, whatever, then contact me!

Is there any talk about the next major US bitcoin conference? I'm interested in attending and would like to start making arrangements. Any one have any word, or barring that a newsletter I can sign up for to get updates? I believe the last one was in San Jose.
