Has anyone here got a printer?
I have access to about 4 at my library (volunteer there).
Four 3D printers?
He mentioned it was in a library. My city's library has one or two aswell.
Still, that's great!

Lol, that coin look like real one. It's for sure printed?
For sure not printed
Yup, we have 5 if you count the PrintrBot Jr we have.  We also recently got a $250k grant from the IMLS, so we're getting a couple more high-end ones!

Thought this was a cool post.  The other day we were discussing 2 major tech breakthroughs, one being 3D Printing, the other of course Bitcoin.  Here is what happens when the 2 collide:

Nice. Those 3D Bitcoin coins can be a cheaper version of physical Bitcoine, just gotta get a right structure.

I'm excited to see where these 3D printers go. It's already pretty cool that anybody can print their own paper money with a standard printer, but it'd also be very cool to mint your own coins.

I wonder if one day bitcoin physical coins will be usable? Cheesy
