I need to go cheap for now - i used a gh calculator and it said i would make 3 bucks a day - the butterfly labs 5gh is 200$ i dont have alot of options so id rather go small then use the return to buy more miners
Try other calculators. If you take in consideration the rise in difficulty, you need to half the output every month. For example you will make some $30 first month, then $15 next one, $7.5 the third one and so on... you will never recuperate the $200 invested.

I think there is a Bitfury 5 gh/s that was made in Poland. There is a thread on here about it. Only problem, is i haven't been able to find a site in which you could order them from.

Shocked Don't order from Butterfly Labs, I own a Jalapeno I bought off Ebay, it works well and is holding me over until my big rig arrives.  But they are out of stock and those promised from November are still not in the shipping cue!  They are very bad with delays and a high failure rate just out of the box!

You would probably be better off with a blade or usb miner to start.

Just my two cents

I can second that! The TwinFury are great! I have 2 of them. Work out of the box.
NO Problem with RaPi and newest Minepeon and bfgminer!

Also: Soon we'r able to mod them with the new Software for more power !!

As far as I know you can still buy them, shipment is done from Austria.

If you go for such a 'low' GH/s I suggest goign for an USB solution, this would cost you the least for running.

The BiFury runs great I know from experience and their shipping times are the best around. The Twin Fury I have no experience with, so cant tell you anything about them.

I have looked all of these miners up the usb miners seem nice but they seem less reliable.  Any good usb miners out there for around $100-$200 dollars.  Or something similar to the butterfly products in the same price range.  I dont know too much about mining  but i want to start.  Something easy would be nice such as a plug and play device.  (maybhe thts a little to easy)

You might be able to get someone to sell you their K16 Klondike miner...  Those are 4.5gh/s and a few people may want to try and sell since they are small time.  I have one, but am not selling Smiley
