Well if the contents that you want fully adult then it will be more better for you to offer the main main bitcoin realted sites ( news , blog , cryptocurrency trading , learners etc ) for the direct advertisement Because it will not give only saving but also a better interaction of advertisement According to your need Because not every sites would like to advertise but also it Should be mendatory that the contents that you want advertise should match with the contents of the site( advertiser ) .

thank you for the insightful post . i'm active direct buyer for couple years with adult sites but i see negotiating with sites owners can take long time and big budget . for example one of big bitcoin sites asked 1000 usd because the traffic is huge 1 usd per cpm though i don't want to be adventurous .
on other-hand i think ad networks can provide several options ....many sites to choose from, daily caps , setup campaign depends on budget, targeting and more if non trashy publishers were supplied it can be effective .
i'm surprised that not so much people shared ad-platforms they know of .
