Do you still know (or can you recover) the exact date that you created the paperwallet?
If so, I may able to find the correct address.

As RoxxR has indicated, if you accidentally wrote the address down wrong on the paper, you can probably still figure out the correct address.  If you know the exact date that you sent some bitcoins to the wallet, then it will make it faster and easier to find the correct address.  IF you don't have that information, you can still run a program to scan all addresses that have unspent outputs and search for addresses that are similar to what you think the correct address is.

Furthermore, the paper wallet should have a private key on it as well.  (if you don't have the private key, then you'll NEVER be able to spend the bitcoins)

Don't share that private key with ANYBODY, but you should be able to re-calculate the correct bitcoins address from that private key.

Hello!

A few months ago I bought 1 BTC, and transfered it to a paperwallet. However, when I now check that address it says invalid address. I tried several block explorers and none of them can find my address. I've always been using this: http://blockexplorer.com/address/15iUFVWeupHbEfgP6yvSaoEWxxapwdT44j to check my balance, but as you can see it's no longer there. So what's happening? I haven't tried to import my paper wallet yet, as it's located somewhere else, but is this really something that can happen? Is there a chance my BTC is lost now?

Thanks.

Check if you typed it in correctly. It is impossible for an address to "disappear", since if a transaction was sent to it, it will be recorded in the blockchain. Check that you have typed it correctly, and if you have the Transaction ID, use that to check too.

That address has a bad checksum. Most likely, you typed it incorrectly. You must enter the address exactly as it appears on your paper wallet in order to check your balance.
