This forum has strict polices on spammers, scammers and ponzi schemes. If you are found promoting one, you will be red trusted and that will be the end of road for you.
If you are found spamming you could be banned
The only way of promoting affiliates here is probably through signatures

There are a lot of good bitcoin-related affiliate offers outside of bitcointalk, namely, Ledger, Trezor, exchanges, etc. Unfortunately for you, like other people have said, you can't effectively promote those links here because even though you can add affiliate links on your signature, you can't add affiliate links on your posts.
If this is the path you really want to take, I suggest promoting them outside Bitcointalk. Probably through a blog, through YouTube, a podcast, etc.

You can also do it with Discord or Telegram group.
You can maybe create your own group and share your affiliate like that,
or be a member of other big Discord channels, and do work for them.
Note that you have to put a lot of effort to make it work,
and grow your network on other platforms.

This is very reasonable, because it would create a lot of spam and advertising.
To do what you want you need to create your own plataform and post your affiliate links there.
For example, write articles in medium or steemit and include your referrals, that would be the best and most effective way of getting lots of referrals.
It is not easy, and you need to create lots of high quality articles.

You may, if I’m right, include them in your signature, but not in your posts. Some people manage them through PMs, but both party’s should really be in clear agreement over it (i.e. open post in public), in order to avoid getting reported for sending spam via PMs.
It's not much of practice in the forum but maybe in the Micro earnings section, you can find some RCB offers for faucets or something else.
As well, you can see some topics about "how to earn free bitcoins?" perhaps you can make a deal with the users suggesting some sites. If they use it they won't refuse an opportunity to earn a little more (it doesn't hurt to send a PM).
